Said we ordered one product, when we obviously ordered a completely different one. Then tried to claim it was our fault! Tried to show us scribbled codes on an order sheet (which mean absolutely nothing to the customer - only to the person who wrote the order incorrectly!!) and say that was "proof" of what we "meant" to order. And mind you... all of this back and forth is delaying us getting the product we actually did in fact order. This all fully explains why I was told by their installer, Kevin, the day this all started, that "the owner has a whole garage full of blinds, shutters, and other product that they'll never get rid of, and it's all from mis-orders, duplicate orders, and other mistakes we've made". That's a direct quote from their own employee's lips. So it sounds like we are not the first customers who have experienced this.

The receptionist said he was going to ask the owners what was up and would call me right back. I called him back a day later. He promised to call me back this time to tell me what was going on. He also told me my paperwork had been filed away in the "completed" files of their office. Budget Blinds made the assumption that the job had been completed by the guy they employ to construct the blinds. Anyway, in mid December, Carlos shows up a day late to install blinds. I had to take an extra day off work. At that time, I called to speak with owners. Left message. To this date, no owner has called back. I complained about one of the shutters slats being uneven, and brackets had not been removed from old blinds. A month later Carlos shows up a day late to fix blinds and remove brackets. Had to take another day off work and he did neither of the two jobs he was supposed to. He moved a few slats around, that's it. The only time I received a phone call from the owner at all was to collect the remaining monies. I had written them a letter, detailing this whole ordeal, hoping they would do the right thing. They did not. I paid them what my contract said less bracket removal and today, I am free of this very unprofessional company. Thumbs way down on Budget Blinds Jefferson located in Winder, Ga. This shop happens to be the primary sight for the semi annual Antiques show that is now in its 13th year. While visiting this month's festival, I decided to check out this store because I was in search of a specific piece of furniture. This store is set up like all of the little antique markets that are divided into stalls. Some of the stalls have a theme, (Christmas) and others are just a collection of things. You will find furniture, collectibles, home decor, dishes and other random items like bibs, soap, and wood refinishing products. At the front of the store, you will find a gift shop that carries tees, and other items but, beware of that crazy floor!
