All their hairdressers get the same training in London, so that's why you can't go wrong no matter who you choose. You can however always ask the receptionist for advice for your hair - and she will team you up with who she thinks will be the best fit. I got my hair cut by Swedish Cecilie today and she was outstanding. She really took her time with my hair and answered all my concerns, often preempting my questions before I had them. She took her time to study my hair neatly and then spent a really good time cutting it from all different angles to make sure the cut was perfect. At Toni&Guy you get a great hair wash with scalp massage while you rest in a massage chair, making you feel really pampered - always a plus! Cecilie then took her time to explain all the different ways I could style and dry my new cut to make sure I would the most of it. I will definitely be back, this place is outstanding !

Got my hair balayaged here last September. Overall, the service left a bad taste in my mouth and I…read morewould not come back again. I was surprised with the lack of transparency during, before, and after the service. When I made an appointment over the phone I was told there was a base price but price could vary depending on hair type. At the time I had shoulder length virgin Asian hair and was told the service would most likely be around base price. During my time at the salon, my stylist didn't mention additional costs or that my hair required anything extra so I didn't think much of pricing until I was slammed with a charged that was 43% more than the base price (later told that the extra charge was for bonder mixed in the bleach and extra toner). Since the stylist has full control of product use and hair knowledge I think it is the his/her responsibility to let the client know he/she will be using extra product or time before or during the service so the client is made aware that what is done will be additional. It is principle. I escalated this to the manager but nothing was done. I also later learned that a colleague of mine with similar hair but twice as long and thicker was charged the same amount when she previously went to same stylist/salon. Wouldn't recommend or come back to this establishment again. I will go the length and use my previous stylist in California who never told me she required extra product or time to balayage my hair.

She was awesome, really nice, happy, fun to talk too and cut to the chase with my hair. My hair was looking downright awful and even she was wondering how I had let it go for so long, but after a nice shampoo, 45 min cut and a bit of styling, it honestly looked like brand new hair, not my hair but amazing hair. I was stoked to be walking out of there with a great cut. Its not often I find a place that I want to make them a regular with my hair cutting, but I will be back here. Its no Tony&Guy experience, but that's not what I wanted. I want down to earth, supporting small studio stylists and actually not burn a hole in my wallet. It was kr 560 for the cut and I couldn't have been happier. Ill be back again and again.
