Some foreign films are shown in the original language (usually English) once a week. Tuesdays are usually cheaper in price, and the theater also offers a student discount with a valid student ID. The student price is only 5 euros! There is also a discounted price for children (Kinder). The theater has nice cushy seats, offers all the usual movie concessions and the latest in German and Hollywood hits. All movies from Hollywood and in other languages are dubbed into German by German actors.

The Kamera Kino is Bielefeld's second art-house cinema (after Lichtwerk Kino, which actually owns…read moreboth). The 3 screens predominantly show art-house and European films, with a few main-stream titles. The main screen has older seats and no incline. Furthermore the restrooms are located just off the main aisle, so there is a distraction whenever someone gets up. The two much smaller screens are located 2 floors up (elevator available). Good selection of films, but needs a renovation.
