I drove here to make a bunch of prints and buy some other items. They are open late which is great. The email system for prints is a little slow but works well.

It was 3 people before me and all I needed was to laminate one page. It was 2 girls working but nothing was moving. I stayed for about 35 minutes before they asked for my paper and about 15 more minutes when they finally got to it. They take bunch of not needed information like address, email, etc. Instead of separating and helping different clients, they were following each other and watching each others work. I had to leave and come back because I couldn't wait anymore

Line was 40 deep; here it turns and wraps around the furniture area.

2 things you don't do in life...go to Party City the day before Halloween, and shop at Officemax the first day of school. Passing by today to pick up some canned air and ink cartridges, I immediately knew it was the wrong night to step into this place as there was no less than 40 people in line waiting to pay. In total, I waited around 25 minutes or so but expected that on the first day of school so no complaints here. The staff is overall nice and quite helpful especially when you're just looking by yourself; they'll come up to you and offer any assistance. The worse part of shopping here is the center itself; there's always a rush up and down the lanes to try and find a spot that may open up which baffles me...the lot is huge so where is everyone going?

I had a pretty ok experience here and feel as though I might be the only one lol I had never used OfficeMax for their printing services but was in need today as I couldn't use my handy dandy work printer. I actually tried calling the number to ask what I would need in order to print something out but was unable to reach anyone. I called twice and I was like as if someone picked up but the line was quiet. It was as if they had immediately put me on hold. Since my sister had been before, I asked her, and she said the only thing I needed was a USB to carry the file I wanted to print. I went inside and immediately went to the printing center. There wasn't a line and the guy there immediately let me know he would be right with me. A woman came in behind me and was actually kind of annoying and tried skipping the line. The guy said that he would help her after he helped me, which I definitely appreciated :) (I forgot to get his name, I know, I suck) He was able to get another computer, and pretty much did everything in front of me. Asked me what it was I wanted to print from my flash drive and voila, done! It ended up being $0.33 for two pages which I really didn't mind paying. First time using the printing area and it was a fast and ok experience. I've purchased office and school supplies from this location before and have never had any issues. Although, you can easily find notebooks and folders at Walgreens for much cheaper!

Takes forever!

This place really needs more staff. I have to literally wait 30 minutes to get anything done through print services. It just doesn't make sense. I shouldn't have to wait that long especially if the store is practically empty. I will not be returning.

My occupation as a paralegal for a mortgage banking law firm allows for me to travel to different…read moresatellite branches including one of our offices in Miami. They are pushing me to relocate, so I have been searching for a new townhouse as well as new furniture since I would be leaving my old furniture with my roommate. I just happened past this store while picking up a rental car down the street. I stopped in and was amazed at the level of service I was given. I am used to dealing with an international community so I knew right away that the young woman assisting me was Russian. I am normally accustomed to what we perceive as the "pushy American salesman" who smell blood in the water as soon as one walks onto a sales area. But she was not like that at all. She only came over to ask if she could get me a drink or hang my jacket while I browsed. When I did have a question, she immediately left whatever duties she was attending to make ME her number one priority. The furniture itself was incredibly varied. I saw an item for every room in my potential new home. There was a wide variety of tables and sofas that were more than suitable for my living room as well as outdoor furniture for the deck. I sat on a few pieces and tested out the sturdiness of the pieces and I was impressed. These are NOT items you will find in some warehouse outlet. That young lady asked me about the size of my living space, the colors of my walls, how I intended to use the furniture (ie: would I be spending a lot of time at home or is it simply meant to look nice for guests) and even considered my budget when we were discussing my options. All in all, I still do not know if I am going to be relocated from my current place. I am not a big fan of Miami, but I am a big fan of the money that they are offering. What I DO know is that I am more than ready to visit this store again if I do find myself living there. The staff I met was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The options were versatile and unique. Like I said, this is NOT furniture you would find in a warehouse store. Even with my bump in pay, I was shown pieces that are guaranteed to look great in my potential new home. Thank you, young lady, and Thank you to everybody else who made me feel like the best customer even though I did not buy a thing.....YET!!!!

I first hit One Of A Kind in search of a special wallpaper. While the design district (despite its…read morename) isn't really the best starting point for most home decorating journeys, I first found their website and I believe it was the closest place to Miami Beach with a decent selection of wallpaper books for review. First, let's just get this out the way: their website (as of late 2013) is awful. It's like the internet circa 1997. Bad. But their retail location is large, pretty, with parking at both sides of their building (it's on a corner). The interior cordons off the wallpaper book "library" to the back where staff help consult shoppers like me looking for inspiration. But each time I've been there, it usually takes *several* minutes for someone to help and the staff have been more helpful than not, however English language skills are a lacking for some staff. This was less an attitude problem than a language thing. Anyway, I'm giving this a three star rating which might seem harsh, but that's exactly what I think makes sense: One Of A Kind stocks lots of wallpaper and interior textiles, with books available for research and product available for order, but it's not above-and-beyond.

One of a Kind is by far my favorite store in the Design District. One stop shop for all my…read moredecorating needs. I found unique wallpapers and amazing furniture. The staff is incredible! I was recently assisted by Patricia and couldn't be happier. Started the new year with an incredible new look for my home. Look no further, one stop shop for all your home needs!
