This review expresses my profound disappointment with the service, pricing, and lack of…read moreaccountability I have experienced at Robbin's Ace Hardware in Blanchard, OK. Recent interactions have led me to the decision to cease doing business with this store, and likely all Ace Hardware locations. The pricing at Ace hardware is consistently and significantly higher than competitors. For example, during recent severe weather events and record flooding that washed out oru driveway. I was charged $9.99 per bag of ready-mix concrete, while other retailers offered the same product for $4-$5 per bag, or less if buying more than 40 bags. I needed 80 total but not at such gouging prices, and certainly not with such high prices during record bad weather events. This represents an unacceptable price difference, and it suggests a considerable surcharge is being imposed on local customers without any discernible justification in product quality, and while delivering subpar service. Furthermore, a recent purchase was mishandled, highlighting a complete lack of accountability. I was explicitly told by the same supervising employee as today at the time of purchase, "If you have any troubles with it, bring it back here and we will sort it out." However, when I sought assistance with this item today, the same supervisor, identified as the "manager," stated he could not help due to it being a Stihl product. It was still a Stihl product when he mumbled those words at me on the day of purchase, and got $300 in unexpected additional sales that day. He offered no resolution, including a return, and did not address the fact that the initial purchase was not correctly associated with my Ace account, a detail missed by front counter staff on multiple recent occasions. And another issue that this "manager" says he cannot help. He is not responsible for wrong items, poor service, and cannot help with any sort of relief for any issues that do arise. It appears the owner has fostered a climate where such incompetence, and lack of responsibility are commonplace, and acceptable to him and his family who run the store. The complete unwillingness of any employee to take ANY responsibility for ANY of these issues has left me with no alternative but to pursue a chargeback for the unresolvable item. While this is not my preferred course of action, the lack of support by store management has forced my hand. I have already returned the accompanying string, and oil purchased with that trimmer. I strongly believe that these customers deserve fair pricing, reliable service, and a commitment to excellence, and accountability from the businesses they support. The current operational atmosphere at Robbin's Ace Hardware in Blanchard, OK falls far short of these expectations regularly. I will be directing my business elsewhere, and will encourage other every local resident I speak to, to do the same. They all deserve a better set of values, and quality service that cares from their local retailers.

PLEASE STAY AWAY AND DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!! I brought in my lonovo computer to have…read morethe screen fixed. When I brought it in the computer still worked and I could still use the touch screen, all it had was a crack in the screen and that was it! Steve said it would be $150 to fix. Six weeks later I called and they said that they took the protective glass off and glued it to a new screen and that all they had left was to remove the bubbles under protective glass. I thought "no big deal" all I asked was that they please be quick I'm losing money every day I don't have this computer. Two weeks go by and no call what so ever. I call and they tell me that the computer needs a whole new top and it would be $280. So I drove up there to get my computer to take to someone else because obviously they don't know what they are doing. When they brought me my computer it was totally disassembled and the screen was further damaged and the whole computer had dirt and a sticky residue all over it. I was quite upset! Steve (the owner) refused to put it back together and give me the work order on it. So I took what was once a computer over to quick fix and they told me that "who ever took this apart still has the protective glass, screws and part of the screen and all this will have to be replaced." Also they said the top plug in for the computer screen had been damaged when it was disassembled. After learning parts are still missing I called Steve to say that I'm coming to get the parts. Steve cocked and attitude and said " I can mail them to you but you better not come back to my store". So I called the cops and they had to come out while i went to ask Steve for my parts back. Steve acted dumb and said I don't have them. Sooooooooooooooooo now I have to replace the whole top because Steve at Computer Masters has no idea what he is doing. Later that day Steve Fritz called and threatened me twice AND called my place of business because I wrote a review on his Facebook page and yelp. THIS MAN SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS! This is the place to go for anything spring outdoor. They also have a Hugh selection of rugs and mats. Holidays are always stocked to the brim. Frames, housewares, bedding. When I went to the register they tried to charge me $2 each .When I tried to explain to the clerk about it, he just shrugged his shoulders up and down a few times like it didn't matter to him. He had the manager come over because I told him that I did not want to pay that if your sign says $1.25, why are you charging me $2? When the manager came she said that they don't charge that price ($1.25) for them and it was a mistake that someone had put them over there, even though there were nothing but drinks on that same shelf and aisle priced at $1.25. She never went to look at them to check the price. As I waited to have the clerk remove the drinks before paying, the register decided to freeze up. The manager ended up opening up another lane and checked out everybody else in line. So it took about 15 minutes of waiting for the clerks register to come back on and finally I got checked out. I took a picture of the drinks and price to show the manager and she still just said I'm sorry but that's not the price of those. So it wasn't the best experience at this particular store. I actually came into this store just to buy 2 items for someone else and ended up getting more things. I think that it's bad management and poor taste and customer service when not honoring their mistake. I tried calling regional offices and also sent an email about the matter but no response whatsoever. It's been about a month now.

I did find exactly what I was looking too. They have so many different items here if you're looking for crafts, they have probably anything you can think of from wood to clay items, painting, and more. They even had a pretty large selection of valentines candies and decorations. The employee who checked me out was nice and the store was fairly clean. I did have to wait in a long line, but it went by fairly quickly.
