I was upset with the store manager. I arrived well before closing to print. One of their machines had issues and stopped delayed and stopped my job. Suddenly, a manager came out of nowhere stating I had to leave! I told him no. He didn't want to heart story. Well, I don't care, because it was their fault. I went to your competition, Best Buy, and two sales people did not even know the products in their own store. I found what I was looking for myself BUT I REFUSED TO GIVE THEM MY MONEY! I then went to OFFICE DEPOT and found Steve. He spoke to me about the type of computer I needed for the tasks I had planned. He showed me laptops and even compared them so I could get a clear idea of what I could gain maximum efficiency with. He scanned the items I wanted to purchase but two were out of stock. I asked if he would look at the Dragon Version 13 that I brought with me to find a computer to install it into. He then showed me the desktop computer and explained them to me. I found an HP 8th Generation Intel Core i3-8100 processer and choose that one to buy. He told me that a keyboard and mouse came with it too. Yeah!! He showed me the Office 365 Personal 12-month subscription, explained it, and I chose that also. He showed me printers, and I explained I would return for that purchase soon. He then helped me with my check out and carried the item to my vehicle and put them in my car. I so appreciate when I go to a store for a serious and costly purchase and am helped with respect and effective technical support to make the right decision. His name was Steve in the Corpus Christi SPID Office Depot and I know now that I can count on the expertise of the staff there. I took 6 textbooks that were held together with staples here to be rebound. The GM told me as they were binding them that they just made a small mistake and they had to reprint one of the cover pages. No big deal, I just care about what's inside. The GM leaves her two employees to finish the last 5 minutes of work and when they hand me the books I look them over and they were all out of order, pages from some books were inserted into others, and over a hundred pages I had given them were missing/reprinted. Long story short, the employees were super cool and refunded me everything, but the GM was conveniently unreachable. Cool, but a terrible display of integrity, and next time I'd probably rather not have all of my books ruined for free. read more

If you're looking to kill time, you came to the right place. This Office Depot will waste literally ALL OF YOUR TIME. I have visited this store multiple times, weeks apart and their "self-serve print" area is a joke to say the very least. NONE of the machines ever work. None of them. No one wants to help you, in fact, if you're in the self serve print area, employees will not make eye contact with you. If you are lucky enough to flag an employee down, they will not know how to help you, or fix their printers issues. After waiting in line (only to never be helped) I hear an employee tell a customer who was having the same issues with their equipment that I also had, "Yeah, all of those printers are broken, they have password issues, I don't even know". So, all of these printers are broken and yet, there are no signs letting customers know this? No employee stops to tell you that? Even after they've walked by 10 times? The last employee told me to switch to a different printer every time I needed help... only to discover that once again, all printers are broken. I walked out of the store today after wasting 45 minutes and being ignored by multiple employees. I needed to print less than 10 sheets a paper... read more

Well... I have heard many excuses why my print stuff is not done... They advertise this as one of their services.. If you are a small business owner or even a big company that has printing to be done.. Don't go here... All you get is excuses why they haven't got your printing done.. I don't when we can get it done.. We can't get it done.. We just don't know... We just can't.... You have been warned about their poor service in the printing department.. I had a simple order of printing a small volume of flyers for an event. I just wanted to verify something over the phone before I placed my order. First, I called the copy center and got a voicemail saying they were closed (during regular business hours). I called main store and tried asking for help and was put on hold after being redirected, and then over five minutes later hung up on. Tried calling customer service and no response. Called local store back and was put on hold again. Copy center was busy, but when they picked up they answered my simple question. The flyers were ready in about an hour, but I picked them up today instead. When I arrived it took another 5-10 minutes before anyone could even help me. The person who finally asked me what I needed didn't even know how to help me. All three people behind the desk looked around for three more minutes. One of them asked for order number and several minutes later came back with the flyers. They did not match the preview and were missing critical information. The marketing flyers I ordered and paid for did not have contact information on them so I requested and was charged extra to fix their mistake. I verified that the image I submitted contained the desired information, and I even revisited the online preview options to see if text is displayed. Everything is in order on my side. Nonetheless, I wanted to be done with this debacle so I paid and left. I now am comparing the updated prints to my original image and I realize there was one detail I overlooked in my frustration. So I am out the money and I still do not have the flyers I ordered. I have spent considerable time on the phone, driving to the store, and online as well. read more

This place is VERY OVERPRICED!!! Very few of the people that work there are even helpful or friendly. I went to buy a box of #50 10" envelopes with pull it seals- $9.99. Target down the street #45 10" with pull it seals- $2.19!!! I thought that the envelopes at OD WERE reduced to $2.00. A sourpuss man went to go check the shelf to find out the price. While waiting, the cashier was telling me some story of roaches being found on envelope seals that require licking-yuck. Sourpuss returned and told me that the envelopes actually are $9.99! I hate going to this place, but it's the ONLY OFFICE STORE in town. I just went again today (Sun, March 9). I bought a 2-pack of Bic wite out (reg price is $3.99, marked down to $2). When I got to the cash register, he charged me regular price. This is not the first occurrence. They corrected it and charged me $2. Then, I went across the street to Target and found a 1-pack of Bic wite-out for 97 cents!!! Office Depot would not allow me the option of buying 1, and is even more expensive than Target. Same thing goes for pencil erasers. Target let me buy 1 for 59 cents. OD would only sell a multi-pack and charged more than Target. If you can buy basic supplies elsewhere, please don't buy them at Office Depot. read more

The store has gone to total crap since being managed by Ramiro. It was a wonderful, friendly, clean, well stocked store when Brad was running things. He even went above and beyond to make sure every customer left happy- no matter what. I don't know what happened to result in the management change- considering Brad is still at the store. But if Ramiro isn't sent back for corporate training on customer service and management ASAP...I'll be purchasing my office products elsewhere. read more

I was just In Office Depot today because I needed ink, we didn't ask for help but we were rushed In and out & I understand with the whole pandemic & everything but FOUR not one, but four people Including two managers who helped us find the "right ink ' we purchased it and went home. Tested it out & it didn't work because it wasn't the right ink, so we go back and try to exchange it or something. Yet they told us AFTER the fact that they aren't accepting exchanges or anything , and didn't even bother bringing up the four individuals we had spoken to earlier it was just a bunch of other employees at the front telling us no, didn't even talk about a refund or anything just no. I would of had no problem paying a difference but to pay for a whole other NEW SETS of ink cartridges, I can't . Im a college student with no job or source of income.. I was rejected help today of any kind and people were so rude... all I needed was ink to take my exam and to try and make some money to pay for food.. I spent almost $90 for ink which I basically won't get back, I can't even use this ink that I have because it doesn't work on my printer , which they gave us .. it's wasn't even within 15 min apart of the purchase and we weren't told they weren't accepting exchanges or anything ! I would please like a refund or Ink or something because the way we were treated today, at this store In Corpus Christi... wasn't right. read more
