The hygienist, Susan, was advertising a special for new clients so i figured, why not? Well, the best dental decision, ever! The location is very convenient. Right across from Zurich HB. The office is clean and the receptionists are friendly. I was taken promptly at my appointment time. Susan was thorough and communicative. My teeth felt and looked amazing after her cleaning. The cleanings cost around 150chf, which is a pretty good deal. Just prior to my move, I had all of my old silver fillings replaced with white. I knew they looked terrible, but I figured that was just how they were supposed to look. Susan was appalled by their appearance. I also had constant pain in some of them. I made the mistake of having the work done in the US by a dentist I had never been to before but accepted my insurance. Susan referred me to the Dentist, which I was slow to book an appointment with, because I had literally just had all of those fillings replaced. In any event, after x-rays and the consultation, there was zero question, the work was terrible and needed to be redone. So, I booked my first appointment. Simply amazing. From the no pain procedure, to the dentist's perfect patient manner, it was the right decision. Once he was done, I looked at the work and my goodness, when comparing his work to the other dentist's, you would have thought I now had the guy who made Ben Affleck's veneers as opposed to the guy who made George Washington's dentures. There was silver still left in my tooth and decay from the previous dentist's work. The new work is beautiful, a perfect match to my teeth. I have so far had the entire left side of my mouth done (4 teeth) and am so happy. This dentist really goes above and beyond, not only ensuring the work is beautiful but also that it is minimally invasive to the existing tooth structure. And, the best part, it only costs around 400chf per tooth. I had heard horror stories about 10,000 chf crowns in Zurich so I was nervous about pricing. In any event, best dentist ever and when I need to have the fillings changed in 10-15 years, I will be flying back to Cosmodent, from the US, to have it done.

Bingisser): Ich musste…read moreeine Krone für ein bestehendes Implantat sowie ein NEUES Implantat machen lassen und wollte auch einen Stiftszahn mit KRONE versehen lassen - alle drei Zähne oben links: Den Stiftzahn hat mir Dr. Bingisser geschliffen, sodass als Folge ein Schleiftrauma entstand; er setzte bei diesem Zahn trotz Schmerzen die Krone drauf und ich hatte immer eine Entzündung und musste schliesslich den Zahn nach mehr als 1 Jahr ziehen lassen. Er machte mir daneben auch ein Implantat, von dem ein späterer Spezialist meinte, es sei "schief" gesetzt und die Schraube mit der Krone fördere Parodontitis. Ich kann diesen Zahnarzt nicht für Kronen und nicht für Implantate empfehlen. Leider war ich so dumm, mich hier auf das Internet (Swiss SMILE) zu verlassen. Es geht bei diesem Zahnarzt sehr viel um teure Technik; es mangelt ihm leider einfach an der wahren Zahnarzt- Handwerkskunst ....

I have a quite complicated dental history and I am quite picky when it concerns dentists…read more Unfortunately when I first moved to Switzerland, I had to go to the dentist and not speaking German I was more than a little nervous to find one. Dentists in Switzerland are notoriously expensive and Dr Mettler is too, they ask you to put down a deposit of 300 CHF before even seeing you! However, the care of Dr Mettler and his team is outstanding, he has a good grasp of English and explains clearly all the options of treatment. There is plenty of staff in his practice and they all seem knowledgeable and friendly. I also like that they give you a little leaflet with English instructions with the drugs they want you to take but I was really charmed that they called a day later to see if I was doing ok after getting treatment. I feel lucky that I found Dr Mettler and would highly recommend this dental practice.

I've been coming here for 4 years for my dental cleansing and checkups. The service is friendly and welcoming and the attention is superb. I recommend this dentist without reservation.
