Active duty & Vets beware of this company!!!
So, I'm a 100% disabled combat vet. I took my truck to ORW because or a former manager (that has since been fired), who built another truck told me that ORW was a great company that did quality work. So I spent somewhere around $30,000.00, to build my 2011 F450 DRW King Ranch. With everything I had done, I made sure to get ORW's warranty package. Everything was fine at the time, but it's been nothing but problems since trying to have warranty work done. In fact I refuse to go to the El Cajon store, the manager (Josh), is full of sh*t. Multiple times he tells me "I'll call you when your parts come in," he NEVER called. So I contacted the former manager, told him of this nightmare. So he went out of his way to reached out to Ryan (This location's manager), to ask if he can help me. Through email and phone calls we agreed on a plan to "make everything right." What a lie, Ryan decided (without telling me), that he decided to change the plan. So I decided to check my truck and see what was actually done vs what we agreed to. I find that one of my batteries is missing the bracket and nuts that hold it in place, as well as a bolt missing for my headlight. I contacted Ryan and on the phone the guy tells me I'm lying, that his shop forman is definitely sure the bracket wasn't present, but admitted he "might have forgotten the headlight bolt." Before hanging up on me he agrees to send Albert (shop foreman), to my house to install the bolt. As it turned out Albert forgot both bolts for the headlight, and in talking Albert also said he threw away my battery insulating blanket. He said it was "damaged" and that in removing the battery it was damaged worse. So without my knowledge he threw it away. I sent Randy (owner), an email about this. He called while I was with Albert, left a message and told me he would do whatever it took to "make things right." I called his phone back left him a message, I even offered to talk over coffee about this. That was 3 weeks ago and counting. I sent him a 2nd email yesterday, but still no follow up. I'm writing this as a warning for vets and active duty, DO NOT take your vehicles to ORW. They have no honor, they don't honor their work, their warranty is nothing but empty words. I am currently waiting to see if Randy (owner), answers my email. If not I'll be seeking legal action against this company, to include a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repairs (BAR). read more
