Had a car wreck, not at fault. Took too long to settle, almost 3 years, may not be this firms fault but, we was not kept in the loop most of the time. There were crucial things that had happened in the process of three years that we were unaware of until we constantly had to call and ask.... Mr. Baril is a very nice guy. I think with some communication improvements from his staff it would make things go alot better and easier. read more

My mother and I were involved a not at fault accident which totaled my car and caused both us bodily injury, which have in turn caused medical bills to be turned over to collections and for my mother to be denied treatment due to her being unable to pay the bills. The opposing insurance company is notoriously difficult to deal woth, and although our cases have been taking quite some time to resolve, Billy at OEB has been very easy to communicate with and is fighting for us. The entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, so even though case still hasn't been resolved yet, I know Billy is putting a lot of time and consideration into it. Hired for disability lawyer which I ended up not needing was approved immediately. Money being with held for over payment contacted their office after multiple times was told was not correct still 8 months later no ssd payment have I received also they do not return phone calls very hard to contact anyone have to be transferred several times a call. This Law Firm is HORRIBLE! I hate to give them 1 star! I have actually made a complaint to the BBB as no one should EVER put their life in their hands! The complete & utter lack of communications & professionalism makes this firm horrible. The sad part is, I don't think the only surviving lawyer there is aware how horrible his staff actually is. Wow !! After 3 months, I heard from OEB !! Hillary sent me a message wanting my contact info so she could "help me" ! LOL ! I provided my info, thinking she would call !! Wrong !! Calling me would be SO BENEATH HER, so she insist that we trade messages through social media ! Im not agreeable to that, so after a hissie fit from her, I guess I'm looking for a new lawyer. I don't understand why she can't have a PROFESSIONAL DISCUSSION BY PHONE AND DISCUSS THE MATTER WITH ME ! They have great commericals but getting them to lower tuemself to talk to you is a ACT OF GOD !! And -- if Hillary is a example of their people, I pity anyone trying to get any help from them ! What a horrible experience from a law firm that I expected to be much more professional than they turned out to be. Unless you want to wait 3 months for a reply and spend hour after hour trading messages on social media, because Hillary finds it beneath her to talk to you on the phone, ( even after you ask her to CALL YOU OVER AND OVER) you will be alot better off going to a different firm, if Hillary has ANYTHING to do with it read more

I'm very disappointed in this law firm. I selected them to represent me in my disability case, this case has been going on for over 2 years. I have had 3 different case workers thus far, they do not return your phone calls. Every time I call my case worker ( If she even is my case worker anymore who knows) goes to voice mail. If I'm lucky enough to receive a phone call back it's 3 or more days later. I'm not a well person, I need help with my case! This firm just adds to my anxiety etc...SS had 12-18 months to schedule my hearing...18 months was up in November 2017. I just received another letter from them stating it will be another 9 months, this is unexceptable, I don't have another 9 months! I've had to file bankruptcy do to the fact I'm not able to work and still waiting on SS. Hard to keep my Dr. Appts do to the fact our deductible is so high ( New Year) I have had absolutely no support from this law firm! I'm looking for another lawyer to handle my case. I should have been approved for my SS without having to go threw a hearing! My illness qualifies me a 100%, I'm 52 years old, been working since I was 15. I've paid my share into Social Security. Now I need it, I can't get it! Very Frustrated! read more

Good God the person that contacted me from this law firm was completely useless. She sounded bothered by having to try to do her job and annoyed if you had any questions to ask. Every time she spoke, she took a tone in her voice like she was being so inconvenienced. After her unprofessional attitude, I asked her if she had any legal education and she hung up on me in the middle on the phone call. read more

I had a very serious case and a solid case. I had two brain tumors and previously worked as a Mental Health Counselor. My own counseling agency told me to file for disability. So I filed. My physician said I had a solid case because I had tried repeatedly my whole life to work, yet I had such severe headaches and memory loss after suffering from a second brain surgery that it was impossible to work. She had it documented. My own boss filled out paperwork that said I was incapable of working. Well, it is amazing, but my brain healed so well that after two years of recovering from the second brain tumor, I am now completely healed and free from headaches. I worked through the memory problems and can now remember so much better. But I literally had to relearn how to speak. I hired this law firm and at first they said I had a strong case. Then they changed people and lost the majority of the documentation. The new person has no idea I even had a brain tumor much less two. But she has said she can recover some of the financial loss from when I was disabled, and that I could recover some of the financial wound I lost over those two years of being unable to work. I could really use some of that because I had a lot of medical bills. But they have stopped calling. I had a great case, according to my doctor, my friends, family, and my own employer. Why did they just drop the case? I wish I had hired a better team and I wish they had not just given me some new person who has never bothered to follow up. Don't hire this law firm. They are do big for their britches! read more
