The driveway entrance can be a little tricky to spot but once you are in there is lots of parking available. The employees at Weatherbee Nursery are very knowledgeable and helpful. Frequently at check out they will have great tips for the best ways to keep your plants thriving. I really appreciate the knowledge and kindness they show to us. The nursery itself is quite large and they have lots of native trees, shrubs, fruit trees, cover crops, flowers, herbs and veggies. Off to the left side when you checkout they have soils and fertilizers to help keep your plants thriving. The prices are a good value as well I've found. I'll certainly be back to Weatherbee Nursery. Upon entering their first section where plants would be was empty, not a big deal the place seemed large so I drove around to see visually what they had without getting out of my car (a quick window shopping if you would). I looped around to get back to the entrance and this individual driving a cart stops at the corner and just stares at me while I'm coming back, once I was close enough the man, he stuck his hand out as if to signal me to stop, so I did and had such ridiculous exchange with him that my brother who I was taking to on the phone that aso just got property locally agreed that we won't be buying anything there ever for any reason big or small. I was told it was odd that I was driving around and asked why, then was asked if I was a landscaper or a property owner very sarcastically, when I said property owner he again very rudely and smartly informed me that homeowners are for Saturday's only (today is Thursday).... He closed with stating that most people stop into the office and get brochures and not drive around like I was (boy was he suspicious of something, what I haven't a clue lol). I'm assuming the property is closed off to the public all days of the week except Saturdays? If that's the case put up a sign saying so. Your gate was open I saw cars I drove In To check it out and maybe set something up... thought that was common place. You have a tiny sign that has the nursery name and phone number that's it. Is it really odd for someone to drive in and look around? The place did seem a little empty plant wise, and maybe the gate was open for some other reason like a delivery, gates usually closed, and I some how timed it poorly or something, who knows, but what a ridiculous human being. The closest Tractor supply to where I live is in Pembroke Pines. If you need it, chances are Tractor Supply will carry it along with other unexpected treasures.
