I contacted Solnick Law after being highly referred by a friend and spoke with Mr. Solnick about my…read moreemployment-discrimination matter. At his request, I spent approximately 16 hours organizing and sending a substantial case handoff package because I had an important court deadline approaching. I followed up because I needed legal guidance on how to proceed, but I did not receive the substantive response I was seeking before that deadline passed. Mr. Solnick later explained that he had other matters requiring his attention, which I understand. However, given the urgency of my situation, I found the delay extremely frustrating. When communication resumed, I felt that much of the discussion focused on questioning the strength of my evidence rather than helping me understand my immediate legal options and next steps. I also found the tone of some of the communications condescending. I came to the firm looking for guidance during an extremely difficult and time-sensitive situation. My experience did not meet the expectations I had based on the referral. This review reflects my personal experience and opinion regarding the communication and assistance I received.

"How do you want to pay? She asked" I was on the phone with him listening to the entire conversation. It was the worse costumer service I ever encountered. For a lawyer, who's dealing with a life changer matter life immigration, she should never treat people like that.

During the representation there were significant disagreements regarding strategy and the handling of documents. In my experience, required responses were not filed in the way I expected, and at one point court filings were submitted by another individual associated with the office without my prior knowledge or consent. After the representation ended, I requested my complete client file. There is currently a dispute about whether the full file has been provided. I was also asked to sign a withdrawal document that included language affecting my homestead rights, which I declined to sign. A lien was later recorded against my property related to the representation. As of March 2026, reinstatement efforts regarding the mortgage were not successful. I am submitting documentation and exhibits regarding this matter to The Florida Bar for review. Based on my personal experience with this representation, I would not retain this attorney again. Please add an option sto him. "0" starts Respectfully, Ms. Lewis

Attorney Ira Baker at the Baker Law Office Delivers Again!…read more On December 1, 2024, I received two traffic tickets from a Collier County Sheriff: one for "following too closely" ($163) and another for speeding--88 mph in a 60 mph zone ($278), which also carried the risk of four points on my license. The result? The "following too closely" ticket was completely dismissed. As for the speeding ticket, the court ruled "adjudication withheld"--meaning no points on my license. I paid the $278 fine and was required to complete a four-hour safe driver course, which cost about $15 and took less than two hours online. During my initial inquiry, the attorney raised his voice, spoke over me, and responded with visible irritation simply because I was asking questions about my situation. This was not a consultation--it felt dismissive and confrontational. Asking basic questions before retaining a lawyer should not result in being spoken down to. Professional communication and patience are fundamental qualities I expect from any attorney, especially during a first interaction. This review reflects my personal experience during a phone call. Based on that interaction alone, I chose not to move forward and instead will seek representation from a firm that treats potential clients with respect and professionalism.
