Most of them come off as generic and don't really give off a unique vibe to them, not Minesky Infinity though. The thing that makes Mineski Infinity unique is that it wasn't started by people who looked at it solely from a business oriented perspective. The people who started Minesky Infinity are a group of students who were themselves hardcore gamers. Their internet cafes are basically made by hardcore gamers, for hardcore gamers, of hardcore gamers. Everything is great. Sure you won't be using products from the likes of Razer, but their keyboard and mice are of great quality. They have headphones that do a good job of bringing a level of sound and comfort I wish I'd get more often from other internet cafes. they clean their equipment regularly and replace the ones that are broken. Given just how well some kids treat internet cafe equipment I'd say that's a massive plus for Mineski Infinity. To date, I haven't found a internet cafe franchise that handles its business as well as these guys do. Sure there are probably cafes that are as good, if not better, but none of them have the presence that Mineski has. It is the gold standard of internet cafes so far as I'm concerned.

It was an expensive internet cafe compared to most, but then again considering their hardware and the speed of their ISP it was something to be expected. However, as more and more generic computer shops sprung up, Netopia eventually lost its market share since they were too expensive. I mean, the I remember their introductory hourly rate was at fifty pesos. Today, a typical computer shop usually has a three hour promo for that price. You can only imagine how expensive that must be considering that this was back in the early 2000s.

It's pretty much your run of the mill internet cafe. It has aircon, and a mildly cheaper rate than the rest of the cafes in the area at 25 an hour. For me though, it's a really great place to print. They meet my number 1 requirement for printing, which is that they print FAST. By fast, I mean, somehow even if they have a lot of orders, I still normally get finished within 5 minutes of walking in. This is insanely important to every student. All you irresponsible students like me, you know what it's like to be rushing, with 10 minutes before the deadline and the office being on the other edge of school. It's in times like these where a fast printing place like Speedbytes is an absolute godsend.

Isko was a big part of my college days back in the University of the Philippines. My laptop is just too heavy to bring to school especially when commuting. What I like about this computer shop is it's fast internet connection and well maintained computer units, despite having a Windows Vista operating system up to this date. Although, I think they should upgrade their OS already, their computers haven't failed any of my usages yet, so I guess there's really no problem with that. I even go to Isko until now whenever I had to upload some huge file on the net. My "12 hours remaining time" of uploading at home is just minutes of waiting time with this computer shop. It definitely makes my computer life efficient up to now! Most people who go here use computers for academic and professional purposes, (I'm not sure if they allow gamers here but I haven't seen one in any of my visits) that's why it has a somewhat library feel, perfect for writing and researching. The staff in Isko is also commendable for being professional with work. You can count on them to trouble shoot any technical difficulties that you may have with the computer that you're using, plus, they're also very alert when it comes file printing and logging in and out of costumers. Rates are only P10/hour of internet, and around P2.00 - P5.00 for their black and white and colored printing. Really cheap compared to most internet shops in the metro. Everything in UP Shopping Center is cheap, anyway, so go there if you're looking for budget computer, photocopy and printing services.

You appreciate that they don't try to squeeze you in with photocopiers or bookbinding services, so you know you're just getting what you need: a cheap, proper internet connection, MS Office, and a reliable printer. Knowing that all these people are in a rush, the staff of Netopia work fast but well. The place is a bit small, but if you won't be using their computers, you'll be fine. If you do need to use their computers, they have all the programs you need. And if you get stuck, one of their staff will be able to help you out.
