Do you like to be lied to? If that's what you are looking for in an agency, this is the place for you. Deceitful and misleading. If "no stars" was an option, that's what I would have selected. I rented two houses over the summer, one in June and one in August-- different houses. My first rental experience with Ray P, Jr was smooth with no problems.
But Ray P. Sr?!!?? Holy cow, what a mess. He is deceitful and dishonest -- a bumbling excuse for an agent, at best.
I sent my lease agreement and check back very quickly and then received an email stating that I still owed an additional 100.00 for the deposit. I responded and advised that according to the lease, only 750.00 was required-- not the 850.00 they were requesting. Too bad. Ray P. Jr. quickly blamed his father and demanded an additional 100.00. stating his father must have made a mistake.
The mistake was using them in the first place. When Ray P. Sr showed the August I was shown a large spacious house with 6 bedrooms, and a decent sized back yard, which was still in a state of repair/renovation, whatever. Ray didn't know what was really happening but assured me that it would all be cleaned up by August.
While staying at the first house in June, I visited the other house to confirm that all the clean up that was promised had been completed. It was not even touched. I called Ray and advised him that there was still construction materials and broken concrete in the backyard. I wish I could post pictures to demonstrate how dangerous it would be for my children to go out. I was again assured that it would be cleaned up.
With high hopes we arrived at the August, only to find that two of the bedrooms were locked!!!! I called Ray Jr. to request he unlock the door. He said that it was only leased as a four bedroom. I advised him that when we were shown the house, all the rooms were open and Ray Sr. NEVER stated that the rooms would be locked off. Ray Jr. passed the phone to Ray Sr. I told him that when he showed the house, he showed it as a 6 bedroom. When I asked him about the discrepancy at that time. he stated that sometimes the owners will not list it as bigger as they just don't want more people in the house. I commented again at how much space there was just to confirm the number it would sleep. He walked with me through ALL the rooms and counted the bed space. NOT A WORD about anything being locked off. He just reiterated that it would be whatever was in the lease. I called my attorney (specializes in real estate) who advised that if there are bedrooms that are locked off that should be expressed in writing, in the lease. Still no response from Ray Sr.
The construction materials were not cleaned up properly--simply shoved under the house.
