    I moved in eight months ago. It's pretty quiet as far as apartments go. Maintenance is a joke, no…read morematter how many times you ask, nothing comes of it. The new owners are the same, they are painting the outside. But once you move in and sign the lease they don't show interest anymore. Large dogs are allowed, which is awesome because my baby weighs 70 pounds, but on the down side it seems most people don't pick up their dog's poop. There's poop bombs EVERYWHERE, just waiting for you to step in it and track in into your apartment. It sucks. There are no washer/dryers in the units, or the hook ups to have your own. They do have a small laundry room where they have about six washing machines and about six dryers. I've stopped using them because something always gets on my clothes, (looks kinda like sand/dirt) even after checking that there's nothing in the machines. Most of the dryers just take your money and don't dry your clothes. I complained to the office and was told with attitude that I would have to call the number on the dryer for a refund. So I did and about two weeks I got a check for my$2.50. So after I pay to wash my clothes I end up washing them again by hand and hanging them in my apartment to dry. That's why I started going to Coastal Laundry, but that's another review. The walls are super thin and you can hear every move your upstairs neighbor makes, thank God they only have two children, they have to pass out sometime, and then if the adults aren't stomping around it's quite. Could be worse! Also, they do have a small pool that looks clean and is used by screaming children daily, (sigh) like I said, it could be worse, but it could be a lot better too.

    Edit: the leasing office keeps responding with this notion that we only came in once on the 29th…read morefor the mold addendum. We came in (my husband) 3x to address our concerns about the mold. To which the leasing agent responded with "the only thing we can do is give you the mold addendum" and send maintenance. To which you guys didnt send maintenance for another week. I called back and that is accurately portrayed in the call recording. So, no, idea that we ddint give you guys time to fix the issue is null and void. They also only kept coming to our apt when the neighbor across the hall would blast music and the neighbors over would have literal parties where they would scream profanity and get intoxicated all night. The upstairs neighbor would also constantly smoke marijuana and had no issues. Eventually we went to the office and spoke to the manager and she said she would handle it. We had the curtesy patrol officer come after that anyway to which they eventually stopped because we were terminating our lease soon. Fast forward to a couple weeks before our move out date we found mold and saw that it had damaged our property. We called them and told them that it was in the closet and everywhere to which they stated they would put in a maintenance request and maintenance will come check it. All maintenance did was look, read the humidity levels, tell us to contact our insurance and left. After doing so, the insurance needed further reasoning as to why levels of humidity were so high and to ask for a more in depth report on what was found. I told the office to which the manager, ashley, responded "you never let us know, so we didnt see it and therefore we couldnt do anything about it and cannot provide you with the report only the work order on the closet" (which was incredibly vague and brief). she also went on about how she has lived on site for years and hinted that this is our fault because we didnt "clean the windows every other day and open the windows". Which we did constantly, we also have quarterly inspections, and the maintenance people changed our blinds, to which they found nothing too throughout our lease (the mold literally just popped up and we told them as soon as we saw it. Which after doing a quick google search mold can spawn as quickly as 24 hours with multiple different types). Needless to say, i found this to be ridiculous, because i told them on the phone about the mold, and my husband also went in personally to tell them about it. Not to mention, even after telling them about the mold, it still took about a week for maintenance to come, and they only did so after calling back in to ask "why they have yet not come". Maintenance did nothing upon arrival and even entered my premise without permission or notice (they unlocked the door after i didnt hear them knock and came in, i could have been without clothes or my children would have been without clothes). Ithought they would check everything and then they were gone . I found this odd because she was so adamant on "being told about the mold so that the maintenance can do something about it" when they in fact did nothing and again we did tell them. She also said it was my responsibility to clean it, contain it, and make sure it doesnt happen, so what did she truly expect her maintenance guys to do after being told. Ultimately, she refused to accomodate our request for a written statement. On a side note, the building is poorly made, floor is thin as paper, everything broke very quickly, they have a mold issue and will blame you and cover their tracks, do not clean anything they just paint over everything, including the toilets and the vent, and maintenance will do the bare minimum and are rude. They also only document what they want to document, and leave out key details (i.e, maintenance documented that i didnt hear the door and that they unlocked it and heard a small child but failed to document that upon arrival we had windows opened, the dehumidifier was on, and that windows were otherwise clean, all things pertaining to the actual mold). We are being discriminated against and i wont stand for it any longer. Videos and pictures are of the last week we were there when it rained a ton and I believe the mold and humidity is a result of this and proof that the mold can literally just pop up and pictures of the water damage from the water coming in. Mind you we left march 7th and it started pouring march 1st, we dedicated our time to cleaning that entire week and we chose to do windows last. Where we wiped the water halfway and left the mold so maintenance can see, and maintenance came on march 5th, and again did nothing, looked at just the closet and left

    To Whom This May Concern I moved in my apartment in March…read more2018. I have found both management (Kayla) and maintenance (mainly Cedric) to be quite nice and very reasonable. When I make a request to for a repair, Cedric is very efficient in getting my maintenance requests completed in a very timely manner. Kayla is downright adorable. If I want something, and it is in her power, she will do it for me. She is so awesome. She treats me as as her equal, and speaks to me as a friend, without treating me as "just another tenant." She has been the same, sweet person since day one when I first applied for my apartment. I adore my apartment. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 full baths, and comes with a dishwasher, washer and dryer (they perform surprisingly Awesome!). I also have a pantry. The bedrooms aren't all that big, 12'x12' approximately, but it is big enough for my queen size bed. I have 2 closets in the master, and both bathrooms are huge. The guest bathroom is big enough for someone to sleep in. The pool not very big, but it is always clean and the grounds are kept neat and tidy. My mailbox is huge. It is large enough to hold at least a 12"x4" (inch) package. My neighbors are so awesome, and no one ever bothers any of my stuff. There is a bus that runs every day. I have access to the Dollar Store which is right in front of the apartments and Neighborhood Walmart located aproximately 2/10ths of a mile from me (walking distance). I love that the Promenade is about a 1.5 miles from me and The exits for the interstate are a mile from me for any direction I need to go in. I think I will be staying here for a good while. Now because of my carelessness and I did not take all the security measures necessary to protect my identity I have to change all passwords,security settings and modem log on info. Thanks for putting me in a embarrassing situation. I want to apologize for the derogatory review posted in my name. Rest assured if I knew who did this I would act on this expeditiously to resolve this. To management,I am very sorry for this and all measures necessary have been put in place to not let this happen again. The management has treated me well in my present situation. they have been very understanding and accommodating to my Wife's and my needs.And have been very helpful.
