    Short game area.

I first noticed this place a few years back when I was hiking down the coast just down the street. I thought then that it was a strange place for a driving range. But that is by no means a bad thing, just not what most city folk are used to seeing. It appears this family run driving range may have turned concepts over the years. It looks like farmland much like what you'd see up and down this stretch of coast, very agricultural. But they took a small plot of land, that I'm sure may have been vegetables at one point, and just turned it into a landing area for flying golf balls, used for practicing. All balls are dispensed through a machine and takes cash. If you need change, I think you can get it through the little shop that looks like a module home. I believe I paid $10 for 60 balls, which is real close to what I pay closer to home. Things I liked: -Not as packed and crowded as most Bay Area driving ranges. -Great yardage markers all over. Better than most in my area. Got me to dial in some shots. -Although not large, you can practice a bit short game here too. Small chipping and putting area. -Resident dog lounging around really seals the deal on putting you in a rural setting. -The balls they dispense are actually real balls mixed up. Not your average generic beat up range balls. Never seen that before. -Super close to the ocean. Like within a 4 minute walk, you could be touching the Pacific Ocean. So didn't come all the way to Half Moon Bay just to do this. I was already doing a day trip here and I had my golf bag in my car already. Had time to kill before the lunch hour, and this was a relaxing yet productive way to kill an hour. I can do this again, no problemo.

Excellent local driving range. Bring you ow equipment, or user theirs. Nice extended summertime hours means I can enjoy putting some down range until the sun is in the ocean.

Hometown driving range on old farmland that makes for a great practice space! Ball machine is cash only, but they have an ATM inside, as well as bathroom. $15 gets you 100 balls, and smaller units than that too. Perfect for beginners that don't want the pressure of looking like you know what you're doing! They also had used clubs for sale, soda/drink vending machine, and a few chairs thoughout the bays. No frills, but great to take some swings!

Came here to teach a beginner how to swing a golf club (said beginner is now my wife). Make sure you get a good sense of the directions before you come here- it'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Also make sure you take the time to bring cash, as the place is right next to a walking distance farmer's market that's not too big but very cozy and family-friendly. As to the driving range, about $10 will get you everything you need for 1 person and all that's left is just you and the open sky with that special someone you wanted to show off to. Also saw a llama here. Unexpected but hey isn't that the bay area.

    The driving range. Relaxed ambience.

Dope place. I was in the area and I so happened to have a bunch of clubs in my car. There's a machine that dispenses the golf balls. They have 3 options. I went with the middle one which was like 80 balls for 8 bucks.. can't beat that!! I would of went another round but I was off my break. Was not crowded and had space to launch some golf balls with some power Happy Gilmore swings 6 stars. I'll be back for sure to work on my putting and chipping

Neither of the Half Moon Bay Golf Links courses at the Ritz-Carlton have driving ranges. So, if you are planning on warming up for a round there, this is the only place in town where you can do so. Most people will question why I would give this place 4 stars instead of 2 or 3. Fair enough. The mats are worn, you hit to an old, torn up field and the balls have definitely seen better days. However, I really like the atmosphere here. The owner, Carol, is absolutely wonderful, the price for a bucket of balls is a steal, and there is a very nice dog wandering around to give you advice should you need it. If you don't like hitting off mats, you can pay a couple extra bucks to hit off the grass area at the end of the range. Last time I was there the gentleman who helps run the range gave me so many free balls, I had to quit before I could hit all of them. Like the name says, you can even see the ocean from the tees. There are simply very few businesses out there anymore that take pride in providing excellent customer service in a pleasant atmosphere. This place is one of the last holdouts and deserves to be recognized for it.

I came in super hungry and ordered a handful of dishes. The food wasn't spectacular, but it was delicious: this restaurant serves classic American dishes, focusing on seafood. The service was quick though, and each server was very friendly. What really stood out were the desserts: the brownie with ice cream was great, not too rich in chocolate which was tasty and balanced. The caramel apple blossoms were my favorite: not too sweet, with a perfect balance of crust to apple.

But to my surprise, both the rehearsal and wedding day were completely stress-free! Christina, Taylor, and the entire team truly took care of me and my loved ones from start to finish. And can I just say -- my guests had so much fun! From the overflowing drinks at the bar, the gorgeous and spacious venue, to the amazing food during cocktail hour and dinner -- everything was absolutely perfect. I honestly couldn't have imagined a better day. Thank you so much, Hiddenbrooke Hills team!

Elite Package Ok…read moreit's a long one but if you're going to invest money anywhere I think it could be helpful to make an informed decision. So overall I think the concept and idea of all inclusive planning is cool and can help ease some wedding planning stresses but throughout, I've explained it (when people ask) as a bunch of companies that have decided to partner to work cohesively but mostly to maintain working relationship. You will need to reach out to each vendor and make appointment with them and meet whether face to face or over zooms but aside from wedgewood.. Same as you would if it were not all inclusive. Again what it does however, is gives you dedicated partners that are working closely on a constant basis... we decided to go with wedgewood because we have 1 year old twins and figured it would be a great fit for our situation. The staff are really friendly and extremely nice. You have a good amount of meetings with Wedgewood(maybe 3 plus a binder pick up so 4), in my opinion not too many, but I'm also local. You go through the run down, multiple times of what to expect, what the steps to come are, and how you'd like your day to look. Planning and coordination The day of, leading up to the ceremony, the day was seamless. Maybe an hour or 30 minutes before the ceremony the officiant meets with us in separate rooms (in my opinion too late in the process to iron over last minute details) I expressed a detail I'd liked altered and he gives me push back, to the point where I have to remind him this is my wedding. Floral Florals were nice, however I asked for only greenery on the tables and there were blooms. Also there were supposed to be guttered petals lining the ceremony isle instead there were 4 bags of petals unopened piled at the start of the isle. When I reached out to wedgewood they expressed the florist did not give them any instruction--but again as stated you have multiple meetings over the course of time and it states plainly in the paperwork that is an element of the ceremony Ceremony As the bride I can only speak to when I entered. But there was some issue with walkie talkies that ultimately delayed my entry. The song I was to enter to (I wanted no more than the first 54 seconds to play) was pretty much done after I was driven about 25mph on the back of a golf cart to the ceremony... hunny the hair is getting thrown all over from the wind, I'm holding on in hopes that I'm not thrown, to show up and my song is almost over. At this point ok we're gonna roll with the punches Officially yours I think the officiant thinks we've all come to see him. I kinda had strange vibes in our meeting but I like to trust that people are able to perform in their expertise maybe better than they can explain. We did ask for prayer in our initial and only meeting but a lot more interpretation was given rather than word. Danville bakery I absolutely loved this bakery, the owner was lovely very accommodating and listened to the things that were important to me. We picked up a tasting box and faxed back our request. Again I'm local so no big deal for me iMobile dj The dj was very good he was familiar with our music genre preferences and sound system was good throughout ceremony and reception. We met via zoom he made sure he understood our preferences and what we expected the day to look like, even provided recommendations Buffet capt I didn't have much a a close interaction with the catering staff. I appreciate them making sure all our small guests were served promptly. Even at the end of the night Vicki made sure the groom and I had food to take with us in case we didn't get a chance to enjoy our food due to the days flow. However the next day a lot of guest said they didn't get cake, and these were guest that don't communicate with each other and also no cake was sent back with us. Per the next day response of our coordinator stated each seat had a slice and there wasn't any left... mmm I dunno Our dedicated coordinator left at the beginning of our reception. Kinda strange but aside from cake issues our reception was fire (we had a really good dj) Overall experience I don't plan to have another wedding but if I could do it again I wouldn't necessarily make this route my first option. Again they are really nice but the actual flow of the ceremony needs more dedication. If there is a rehearsal and multiple meetings where we discuss how the day should look, I expect my day to reflect that. Yea things happen but we (if lucky) only get married once, these businesses function daily and could be a lot more fluid. Maybe don't depend on walkie talkies, maybe keep a copy of the plans on hand and make sure detail are covered. At the end of the night we tipped coordinators, dj, buffet capt, and bar tender. Side note: To be fair I reached out the next day expressed my gratitude and asked for possible resolve. I was replied to the next day (folks get busy) and no accountability was taken.

I called AR Weddings N Events one evening around 8:30 PM and AnnaMarie answered - first try! From this first call, I knew in my heart that I found the most amazing wedding coordinator. AnnaMarie is responsive, punctual, resourceful, flexible, kind, and compassionate. And of great importance, she is calm and creates calmness around her.
