This practice runs like a finely tuned machine. All of the doctors, nurses, medical assistants and front office work as a team. We started coming here after some less than stellar experiences with other pediatricians in the area. My mom worked at Hasbro Children's Hospital and recommended Dr. Silversmith as the nurses and staff in the unit where she worked were so impressed with him. Our experiences here have been positive and I have referred other friends here only to find that the practice was closed. That status may have changed since that was over a year ago. They have weekend and holiday office hours which is a huge convenience. Competent, thoughtful adviced from every physician we have seen there. The doctors here are definitely pro-vaccination, but will space vaccinations upon request. read more

We have been using this practice for 11 years. ALL of the doctors and nurses are absolutely fabulous. I've never had a problem reaching anyone in an emergency, they really listen and work with you to find solutions. They return calls promptly, and see us fairly close to our scheduled appointment time. Happily discussed pros/cons of issues from vaccinations to circumcision. Very easy to talk to. Our physician is Dr. Noel, but we've had experiences with most of the other doctors as well, and they've always been stellar. I really cannot say enough about the medical staff. The *only* reason my review is a 4 and not a 5 is one of the receptionists....she is cold, blunt, to the point of being rude. She has been with the practice as long as I can remember and I've always dreaded dealing with her. But all of the other staff and friendly and immensely helpful. Definitely worth working around her for the level of care we receive. read more

First I would like to say that the doctors here are AWESOME! Love all of them especially dr.zinck and dr.scott. I'm writing this review because the receptionists are so rude and excuse my language but bitches. Every time I call which has been over the last 6 years and with two kids they have attitude. I've been contemplating telling one of the doctors but I have not. I'm sick of calling and feeling like I shouldn't be calling my own kids pediatricians office for appointments. Have absolutely loved coming here. Dr. Butler is great! She's very nice and so great with my son. If you have a problem, like most parents do, after hours, they always have a doctor on call that gets back to you quickly. We had an issue and got a call back within the hour (it was around 8-9pm at night) and had our son in the next day at 915 am. read more

For literally every encounter we had with this office, NONE is good - it took us two weeks to get our kids to see the doctor there as they refused to see the kids before their medical chart was transferred in from California. (During this process, the receptionist made some really goofy mistakes and then lied about that) The doctors there were so-so: nothing impressive really. When we moved to MA later, it took us more than two months to get kids' medical charts sent over to our new address. Not to mention the mistakes, again, they made during this process... Never seen a pediatrics office as incompentent as this one. read more

These people are simply fantastic. All the nurses and docs are wonderful- our favorite is Dr. Silversmith but really they are all amazing. The front desk staff can be slightly surly at times due to the highly demanding clientele and busy office, however I feel if you put out kindness you get it back tenfold. My son has been going here since he's been born, and he will be 2 in March. They are great about sick visits, and will take you right away, which I love. Also, they have Saturday/Sunday availability. I have been coming here for both of my kids for years now and I won't go anywhere else!!!! When they are sick they will always find the time to help over the phone with their nurses or will get us in as soon a they can. I love my son's Pediatrician we have been with her for years. On the other hand, each & every time I've ever called for any reason over the years the receptionist is just horrible & rude! She just tries to push you off on anyone else she can in the office so she doesn't have to help, almost like it's a bother to help & she has better things to do, or should say not do to help parents that are calling about & for their CHILDREN! And if she does put you to someone else & the call is then again given back to her you can just tell in her tone she's just aggravated & I'm left on hold & she never comes back, the last time I sat there waiting for her to come back on the line for over 35 minutes!!! I finally just gave up & hung up & called the following day. This has happened several over the years. No parent should ever feel like they're being a bother following up with thier children's health. EVER! read more

My daughter's father brought her in today and after he left they called me to collect payment for a bill from 2014. He would have gladly paid it while he was there in person but instead Leanne from billing would prefer to argue with me over the phone and then bring up the fact that I am a social worker and should pay my own bills. I know my job, clearly you are not doing yours well if 1- we have no knowledge of this bill and 2 you saw my daughter today and didn't seek payment for this bill at that time. Based on the reviews I am not the only person who has caught a rude unprofessional attitude from this office. read more

Doctors are great. some of the best. Nurses are awesome. we love this place. it would be 5 stars if they could get there billing department straight. make sure you save all your reciepts (they accidently misplace payments) but they are great with kids and really show love and comppasion. read more

Let me start by saying I LOVE every doctor in this practice! I have and will continue to refer friends as well as colleagues however, I have to agree that the office staff is less than friendly. It's too bad that the only negative reviews on here are because of the receptionists. I have children ranging from 24 to 9. I prefer the old fashioned doctor who looks to mom and dad with respect and concentrates on the physical ailments of my child. If I want a psychiatrist I can certainly take my child to one. Whether it is this practice or just the new AMA requirements, I find it offensive that the doctor asked my 9 yr old if I leave her home alone with her teenage brother and his friends! My 9 yr old was troubled by the question and talked about it for days. Then my 15 yr old was asked if he liked "girls or boys" which his response was with a laugh. Yes I think it is laughable, leave my son alone, he is a fine young man. When the doctor asked if he was "happy" and I was in the room, he sneered that when I (mom) left the room he would ask again. What am I the enemy? My old pediatrician used to joke with my kids and put a smile on their faces, not make them question the authorities in their life. Also the receptionists are pretty cold. Maybe someone should remind them that they are dealing with sick kids. To be fair, their diagnoses have been fine. I do like Dr. Silversmith but he is not taking any new patients. read more
