From the referral, this office called me promptly to set up my procedure, and reviewed my history over the phone, then sent me very specific instructions on my prep via mail, which I like. The office was very good with reminders via text of my upcoming date. The location is great, right near post office abd close to highway. The parking is great and my procedure was at 1pm(I was home by 2:15). I went in at 12:30 just to check in and sign the consent and went in and spoke to a nurse before they prepped me. Everyone was so friendly and nice and made me feel at ease. The place is clean, neat, not noisy, very peaceful and quiet. I met my GI doctor- Dr Dreisbach, who was very nice and answered any questions I had. She was friendly, professional, gentle and I was in good hands. She came to talk with me after my procedure in recovery. The staff offered me juice and crackers/cookies, then I sat up and dressed. The nurse walked me out to my ride and we laughed about something goofy I probably said. They gave me discharge instructions to take home in case I needed to call if I had any problems or questions. I was very happy and relieved. I would definitely recommend Gastroenterology Associates to anyone needing a GI referral.

They have a nice size parking lot so that's not an issue it can get busy but there's also a hidden lot to the left. The place is always clean. The receptionists in the front are nice , and friendly. And they move the line fast! The seating area is nice and comfortable no terrible chairs. It's very quiet and private. The assistants that work for the doctors are always so happy and caring , and they make sure to let you know all details , and answer any questions you may have. When being brought to the room it's also nice and quiet and comfortable , you can bring someone with you as well it isn't an issue. ( I don't like going to appointments alone ). They also have translators and they do an amazing job with your beloved family member , they will never be left in the dark. The doctors are even better, they care , they want to get you better and they want to do everything they can. Dr Okpara is Amazing I love her ! She has a done a few procedures on me and she knows I'm terrified to be put to sleep and she holds my hand and calms me down and is great, like I'm so thankful for her. This place is just beyond great! If you need a G.I doctor come here. You won't regret it , and you will never want to be seen by anyone else.

Her team is excellent as well and I'm forever grateful for her and Wesley's (I forgot his last name) and dedication to their jobs. He…read moreclaimed--incorrectly--that 50% of women have nodes in their thyroid isthmus and completely disregarded my pain and ongoing symptoms of losing 50+ lbs unexplainably, night sweats, difficulty swallowing, and more. Despite having a formal diagnosis of thyroid disease and a strong family history of both thyroid disease and cancer, he told me to "forget about" my thyroid being the issue. His attitude was both arrogant and dismissive. Despite seeing the node himself, he refused to investigate further. How am I supposed to "forget about it" when I feel daily physical pain from it? My experience was both disheartening and traumatic.

As we walked in, there was a nice receptionist ready to help and within a few minutes, my husband went it. It took a bit longer than expected for the proceduere, but once he was ready, I got a call on my cellphone to park along the front curb and pick him up. He came out with a full report with pictures and instructions. Very professional, very efficient.
