Her sound healing class is one of the best I have ever attended, it really balanced some issues I have in my vagal nerve due to childhood ptsd. I felt a lot more grounded the week I attended the sound healing. She also knows how to instruct people into difficult poses. She eases the student into difficult poses at the level they are capable of, so they can evolve into the pose without injuring themselves. Her graceful teaching style definitely shows her years of experience and wisdom . Yoga Hale is a cozy beautiful home environment that I really enjoy and gotten a lot of healing from. I highly recommend!

Quick easy process to sign up and sign waiver online. When I arrived, Chantel, the teacher greeted me at the entrance and checked me in. It didn't look like the information was received on her end, but it was again, a quick easy process. After paperwork and payment, she guided me back to the studio. It appeared to be a maze through another studio with curtains surrounding the workout floor and through another with a curtain. This was a smaller studio with about 8 infrared heating elements around the perimeter. There were only three students, including me. Chantel is in incredible shape and she led her class in a way that resembles that. Although I've taken hot yoga classes before within this lineage, she strayed a bit from the normal routine and it pressed me to work harder than I had in the past. Luckily, I survived! She very much tailored the class to the participants, which was very cool. This is a really cool studio with multiple areas for exercise and even a tatoo shop in the back! Hope to return for another class in the future! Keep on Yelp'n!

Kayla welcomed us with a cheerful smile and was very helpful with suggestions. The place blends an amazing concept of a Yoga studio with some amazing Healthy bowls, smoothies and coffees to follow up the hard work with. We ordered the basic beach and ship wreck and yummy is the word that absolutely defined each of those. You can tell the taste that the locally sourced Honey and Açaí lend to the bowls clearly apart. All in all we really enjoyed the bowls. If you happen to be around in the area please do give them a try. A definite and a most definite recommendation!!!

We ordered an acai bowl and a smoothie which did take a minute to make since there was only one person taking and making orders, but I did not mind the wait. There isn't really anywhere to sit here, but we sat at the tables outside of the grocery store just down the way. The bowl was exactly what I'd been craving: thick, with a generous amount of fruit, sweet but not too sweet. We probably didn't need to get a smoothie also since the bowl was quite large and big enough to share, and while the smoothie was good, the main event was definitely the acai bowl.

Was visiting the island and after a week's visit hiking, walking, playing on the beach/ocean,…read moredriving all over, long plane rides, I needed a massage. I had planned on it and my brother and SIL also wanted a massage so they found a Groupon deal for this establishment. My brother was talking about how he had a beachfront Cabana massage experience before and fell asleep so we had all planned on getting a massage while on vacay. After perusing other hotel spas, I thought this was the best option as it was in a private room but you could see and hear the ocean waves right outside as they keep the windows open. I was able to reserve with a female therapist and had mentioned areas I wanted to focus on. I was ready for my massage! The room is on the opposite side of the store on the second floor which faces the ocean. Alexa greeted me and walked across the way & up the stairs. I told her I didn't want a Hot Stone Massage as my shoulder was sunburned & wasn't sure if my neck was as well, so I opted for just a massage vs. the Hot Stone massage I paid for & she kindly accommodated me. I so appreciated that! Giddy, I took off my shoes, took a few pics of the room and outside and quickly got on the table. Alexa came in and had me take a few deep breaths of some aromatherapy oil while face down. I tried to take everything in--the waves crashing outside, me being on the island, relaxing music and I said that it was surreal. It's one of those things you dream about, esp. after COVID where your senses have been heightened with all the protocols in place, face masks, wondering if you'll get it while on vacation, etc, etc.. I tried to decompress as best as I could and to be present in the moment. It took awhile, but by the end I was relaxed and euphoric. Alexa was THE BEST MASSEUSE as well as the whole beachfront/waves crashing/serene moment & I told her it was one of the best massages and experiences ever!! She said it was probably from all the positive energy around us. I agreed as I was determined to relax and release all the tension whether mind or body. I highly recommend her as she listened to my needs, and had a great, firm touch & warm hands & really worked my sore, achy muscles in the specific areas I told her about as well as avoiding any sensitive sunburned areas. My shoulder wasn't beet red, just that golden tan with a bit of red and using a Maui Aloe Vera after sun product really helped as well as avoiding peeling. I liked the privacy of the room yet being able to hear relaxing music & waves. I highly recommend Alexa and Blue Moon Yoga and Day Spa! I hope to come back someday for some more healing vibes...many Mahalos!! One side note is about parking. We weren't sure where to park so we ended up parking about a 1/2 block away and up beyond an alley to a small parking lot where you scan a QR code. We ended up paying $30+ for just 2 hours!! We told the therapists after my massage and they said there's a lot with free parking. Be sure to find out where those spots are when calling to make an appointment.

There's dozens of places to choose from on the Kona side, and we were finding it tough to pick. But as we walked around the Kona oceanfront shops we ran into Blue Moon's store, turned around and looked up to see where the massage room was... and were really impressed with the location. Prices were very reasonable relative to what we had seen elsewhere so we decided to book with them. No regrets. A fabulous experience. The ocean front room is better than pictures can show. Breezes and wave sounds fill it with a powerful vibe. Once you are on the table and your eyes are closed, you might feel as if you've been transported onto the water itself. The staff were gracious and attentive. They didn't seem to use a particular technique. My wife and I have had better massages "technically-speaking", but when you're in such a fabulous location it still felt great. My wife enjoyed the products used for her facial add-on. Rather than move from massage to facial at the end, they mixed the facial into the massage time which really enhanced the experience.
