She really knows the market and executed on her well-thought-out strategy to close the deal. Rural and coastal properties are tricky to sell. So we needed someone with experience. Thera and her team are knowledgeable of the entire process - from marketing our home, bringing in potential buyers, proactively managing any possible pitfalls, and guiding us through the escrow process. All of our calls and emails were answered promptly, which doesn't happen with all realtors. She made us feel we were her only priority, which I know isn't true:) She has so many beautiful listings on her website. After all her years in real estate, Thera is at the top of her game and we were truly lucky to find her. She covers the entire Sonoma Coast besides Bodega Bay: Jenner to Timber Cove to Sea Ranch. It was such a positive experience that I wanted to write this review. We highly recommend her if you are selling or buying on the Sonoma Coast.

She helped us find the home of our dreams, walked us through the process of making an offer and completing all the inspections. With Thera's help we were able to complete our purchase in less than a month! We have nothing but good words for Thera. She made purchasing our home, which is now a somewhat complicated process, very easy and stress free. We highly recommend Thera if you are in the market to buy or sell a home in the Bodega Bay Area. Her professionalism, knowledge of the area, and connections with various tradespeople really impressed us.

Growing weary of both our separation from other family members, the long commutes between…read morehouseholds, and the busyness of the city, my wife had a vision to move she and I, our two daughters, our two cats, and my wife's parents to a plot of land near Occidental. But in order to do so, we had to embark upon a seemingly impossible journey, one that involved finding a place we could afford, then putting in an offer by consolidating the finances, bank statements, and credit scores of 4 adult's living in two separate households, then packing up and moving out of our houses, then staging and selling those two houses in two separate cities to buy the new place. I must admit, the whole experience seemed crazy confusing and downright overwhelming, causing me to oscillate through a rainbow spectrum of emotions, a spectrum of emotions anchored by terror on one side and numbness on the other. But amidst the all the existential challenges of such a change, what was not expected was the genuine warmth, graciousness, and welcoming demeanor of the seller's realtor, Pamela Bernier. Having made such a transition with her own family decades before, she validated my wife's vision, was sympathetic to our needs as a family, and certain about the positive impact such a move would have on us all. In the end, encouraged and supported by people such as Pamela, we prevailed. And, as means of welcoming us all into both the community and to the land itself, Pamela invited over the previous owner, an artist who had stewarded the land for 17 years, to walk the property and educate and advise us on how best to live there in harmony with the land. Moreover, she even volunteered to help us move our first carload of boxes into the home. Thank you so much for warm welcome, Pamela! We are forever grateful!

During my initial weekend visit, she quickly understood my preferences and helped me narrow down my search. When a promising property came on the market after I returned to Boston, she provided such a thorough video tour that I felt like I was walking through it myself. Her responsiveness, knowledge, and genuine care made what could have been a stressful process remarkably smooth. Kimberly truly went above and beyond at every turn. She coordinated inspections, arranged for deep cleaning before my move-in, signed for my new bed delivery and setup, and even agreed to receive my car delivery over the Christmas holidays. As a newcomer to California, I was overwhelmed with logistics, but she guided me through everything from acquiring insurance in a fire-risk area to understanding the nuances of Oakmont Village's different sub-HOA requirements. She connected me with reliable inspectors, contractors/handymen, and service providers, drawing on her extensive network and experience flipping homes with her husband. Because this is a small town there are not as many options to choose from for these services. I had not heard of Veikko before as they do not spend as much on advertising as their competition, but I decided to take a risk. Joel has been consistently professional, knowledgeable, helpful, proactive, and easy to get a hold of. My experience with him has been like night and day as compared to my experience with the other related companies this is especially impressive given that my rental was at the high end of the market at a time when the Market is overfilled with rentals in my range, and during a period in which it was taking much longer to get vacanc is filled. Even though Veilkko Provided this service on a fixed rate basis, they continued to provide the same high level of service even though it took much longer to fill the apartment than we had anticipated. Their prices were lower than their competition, Not only for the basic services but also for the photography package.  This company, Veikko,  is smaller than the competition, But this is an advantage because you get personalized service and a much quicker response. There is no comparison in my mind after having had experience with all three of the major Property Management companies in this town. Veikko is by far the BEST.
