Can you trust an appliance repair service? Would you refer them to your family and friends? YES and YES. Nick is an honest, polite, and friendly professional. He diagnosed my dryer problem promptly and the issue was just as he had guessed (thermal fuse blown due to blocked ducts, full of lint) - and even a belt that had popped off. I still have to get my ducts cleaned (never done in 12 years at my home) asap and this is good advice for all. Save yourself the risk of dryer problems, and the possible fire hazard. He explained all the details to me for preventative maintenance, and offered extras (replacement for crushed duct vent) or suggested I could do them on my own. Clean-up was professional, and the price was fair for this kind of work and timing. Then he even fixed my freezer's ice maker, which had a stuck valve causing air to get in "like leaving your windows open in your car on a hot day with the AC on." So no more leaky ice maker with large chunks of ice jamming the machine and dripping on the floor. My dryer and freezer will run more efficiently now, and that's quite a good thing because it's easy to forget how they functioned when they were new. Nick also fixed a stubborn problem on my dishwasher a year ago (also a stuck flap... maybe my house is cursed with stuck flaps) and proved that you don't always have to replace expensive parts when you can get to the root of the problem. OC MASTERS absolutely amazing!!! Our experience could not have been better. Here's the long and short of it: 1. LESS THAN 24 HRS - called in the afternoon, arrived by next morning, repaired that day. 2. RESPECTFUL -not condescending when we explained that we thought the draining problem might be the safety switch, reassured it wasn't our fault, these things break with normal use. 3. KNOWLEDGEABLE - explained our laundry center was older, but built well and repairable. 4. TRUSTWORTHY - price based on model, part, and labor service - not a number out of a hat. 5. PREPARED - had the correct part stocked in his service vehicle. 6. FAST - knew what he was doing, executed the repair with speed and accuracy. 7. We had a problem with our cooktop late in the afternoon and the OC Masters was the only service center that was open and available when we needed them. We both work and have a young child so making changes to our schedule is really difficult, but Nick came over exactly when he said he would. He diagnosed the problem and needed to order a part for one of the burners, but he made sure the cooktop was safe and that we could use the other burners without a problem. He had the replacement part the next day, he worked with our schedules to find the best time for us, and it took just a few minutes to complete the repair. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and professional and the price we were quoted was fair and consistent. Alex at OC Appliance Masters has helped us with our fridge a couple of times. Saturday am the fridge dies, Alex gets it up and running, but tells me in will probably happen again and to call him and he will have a better idea of how big the leak is. He helped me out on the price as he said to call him when it happened. He was honest and did good fast work. Couple days ago the power went out and the door was left open. Frost/ice about a 1/4" thick on the wall of the fridge. I called Alex and he checked the gaskets, checked the freezer and sealed every part of the fridge. When I asked him what I owed him he said it was on the house as he was in the neighborhood and felt bad I was having all theses issues with my fridge . Sara called me back within 2 minutes, and sent Isco out to my house within 1 hour (at 9:30 PM!) After checking out my washing machine for a while, he diagnosed it as having nothing wrong with it. The problem was with how my drainage was set up, he said, which was causing the machine to not run properly. He explained to me exactly what I needed to do to correct the situation, (gotta get some 4" pvc pipe going,) and he set up a temporary fix for the meantime. He also leveled out my machine, and gave me some good advice for extending its lifespan. He charged me the base/house call rate of $65. OC masters was the only company that I can reach evening time. When I called to Sarah, she was up front about the service call charge and scheduled appointment. Than One of the Masters Isco asked me questions whether he would need to bring some specific parts for my dishwasher. He called in advance of coming and remind me appointment. He was personable, professional and master of his job. He stayed until he was absolutely sure the problem was solved. I thought I know how to use dishwasher but he gave me so practical and sensible tips and he explained in details how to prevent kind a problems. I would highly recommend them. I had so much bad luck with appliances lately, so I wanted to express some positive feedback when I finally had good experience. I redid my kitchen and bought all new appliances at Sears Outlet. What a nightmare, never shop there again. They sell damaged products and customer service is at ZERO. After going back and forth with Sears for a week, I gave up and took my neighbor's recommendation for OC Masters. The tech was at my house that same afternoon, unbelievable. I've had my refrigerator broken for a week. I called to OC master and technician Isco fixed my refrigerator in 3 days. I was very happy with my technician, he was friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Hey guys. Nick is very nice and very helpful. As like what the reviews say he is really good in what he's doing. I highly recommend this place. He even sells used tv's for a very good price. Check it out. I had a problem with my Vizio tv he replaced the power supply for $130. I will be back. If it was expensive I would have gotten a new tv but he really gives a good price I think.
