To eliminate possible confusion, Obos Chuleto Restaurante has dropped the "Obos" part of the name. Going forward it will be known as "Chuleto". It is situated in the courtyard inside the small Hotel Vista Hermosa on Cuna de Allende, #11. A true hidden gem! I was surprised there weren't more people seated when we arrived, because when we left we knew this is one of the top restaurants in SMA! Everything my husband and I tasted was superb; from the hot bread and lentil soup, to the spaghetti bolognese and beef Madagascar; and each dish was not only cooked flawlessly, but it was served at the correct temperature (hot)! Unfortunately, we were too full to eat dessert. The owners are very kind, caring and attentive, which added to our positive experience. We will definitely be back time and time again, come rain or shine, because they have seating under the roof and inside the restaurant. We urge anyone living in, or visiting, SMA to give this a try.
