It's a good thing I did because Mr Afram said the prongs holding the solitaire were "paper-thin" and could've popped that diamond out at anytime. So I wanted the set welded, soldered, fused together and resized to better fit her finger. And also to fix all the prongs. The ring was ready within a couple days. The price was VERY reasonable - a lot less than I was expecting. The whole family there running the place was very friendly and professional. Mr Afram, himself, taking special attention to my bride and making sure what I wanted to do was what SHE also wanted done. And making sure he had the right ring size for her finger. The experience was very relaxed and the end result was absolutely STUNNING! The ring came away looking better than when I first bought it 20+ years ago! The diamonds sparkled like fire again. The gold had such a gorgeous shine to it. And the way the ring was welded together looked flawless - like two rings that are just close together. They even polished and steam cleaned MY wedding band while I was there. Outstanding service! I won't hesitate to come back.

We decided on a gorgeous brilliant 1 carat pink sapphire. I'll attach photos. The loose sapphire cost over $1000, and the engagement ring it went onto cost $6000. My husband paid cash. A year ago: I needed my ring resized so I went to Ezekiel Diamond (formerly Denny Bales) since I knew and trusted him. Ezekiel was the person who helped me with the new sizing, and he was wonderfully professional, just like I remembered. I do not like how I look 7 years ago: Life happens. This is why I also needed my ring to be bigger! Ezekiel did not just me based on my note: zero effort appearance. He was kind and courteous. Everything went great! Fast forward to today: I went in there because I want a new center stone for my engagement ring since I wear it as my wedding ring. I wish I would have gotten names but the date today is May 3, 2023 (Wednesday). Info y'all should know about my appearance. I am a 200 lb. Hispanic female with a traditionally male haircut- real short. I was dressed down. I just don't care enough about my appearance to others to go out of my way to fit their expectations. My husband makes $120,000 a year, I get to be a stay at home Mom like I always wanted. My life is good. Mine and my husbands motto is from a rap song: "I don't check the price, all I do is swipe." My husband loves me no matter what I look like. I am a good person, a fabulous mother, and the type of wife that makes him want to spoil me with whatever I want, when I want it. We know beauty is only skin deep. The person who greeted me was super sweet! We talked about what I was looking for, I told her the long story about why I want to replace the stone, and she showed me different color stones to see which one I thought would like best in my engagement ring setting. I would give her 5 out of 5 stars. She has curly hair. I decided I'd like prices on a 1 carat natural citrine, blue topaz, and amethyst. When she went to consult another woman to get the prices: the other woman audibly sighed as she saw me and realized what I wanted her to do. She blatantly rolled her eyes, and everything about her body language screamed: I don't want to be doing this- I'm wasting my time. She did not even try a little to hide her feelings. It was immediately awkward. She mumbled thethe questions to me as if I were too stupid to understand them. Synthetic or genuine? I said what do you mean synthetic? Is that the same as lab grown? I knew it was but she made me question for a second if I even deserved to be there at all. This woman then laughed at me and said no it's not the same. I knew she was wrong, but I was too stunned to speak up. I told her I wanted a genuine stone. She asked what shape. I said round. She said nothing, marching back to her office. I told the lady with the curly hair: wow! That woman did not even try to hide the fact that she doesn't think I should even be in this store. I told her this felt terrible. I said me and my husband actually have a lot of money. I just don't feel the need to prove anything to anyone. She doesn't think I can afford this. At that time, the rude judgmental lady is coming out and I say to the curly haired lady: I just want to say you were great. You treated me kindly. I looked at the straight hair witch and said I'm going to take my business elsewhere. You couldn't have made it any more clear that you don't want to help me and that you think I don't belong here. She looked confused, then started saying something about not feeling so well...... excuses excuse excuse. I kept walking and left the store. Being under the weather does not make someone judgmental. It makes it harder to conceal your same judgements you always have. Your energy goes to fighting the illness, and the mask that usually covers your ugly inside slips off without you noticing. I have a bachelors degree in biology. My husband is a crane operator and crane mechanic. You are not even in our tax bracket. And if we were to compare our IQs, I'm afraid you would not even come close to mine. Needless to say: we won't be spending ANY more money there. I could change that 1 carat center stone once a month for the rest of my life if I wanted to, but it won't be at Ezekiel's Diamonds or anywhere else you or anyone else like you- works. I hope you have the day you deserve.
