The receptionist BARBARA, decided to have an attitude and was not compassionate, did not listen, and hung up/slammed the phone. Within the first few seconds of the call she repeatedly mentioned concierge service, understood Barbara. But the practice is pulling as IN NETWORK, so I asked a question. You interrupted me over and over and I took 2 seconds to respond to an aggressive person, but before a full word came out she hung up, and I mean old school slammed the office phone. I called back and she again spoke over me and continued to NOT BE HELPFUL AND NOT BE COMPASSIONATE of patient in need of establishing care and hung up again. I was angry and I am pretty certain I said a bad word when she hung up again. When I called back a male answered, I explained the confusion and my experience. He said they are inundated with calls, that doesn't mean you can hang up on a potential patient, if I don't do med, I could do SPA...right? Also, maybe the word "sweetheart" was in kindness, but read the room, when your staff is hostile, using "sweetheart" could be taken incorrect from male to female.
