My friend referred me to her lawyer. I made a call to that lawyer. He referred me to Clint. Clint was very responsive and called me back right away. Without knowing for sure if I had uninsured motorist on my policy or not, Clint still took my case without hesitation. When we found out that I did not have uninsured motorist on my policy, Clint still insisted in helping me getting my wage claim under PIP. Clint replied my emails promptly and communicated directly to me every time. When the wage claimed offer was too low. He helped me negotiate with the insurance company for higher compensation. Despite completing all required payments and providing the necessary information, the work was never completed, and communication became increasingly limited. The lack of progress and professional clarity led to her removal from any involvement with the business. What raised even greater concern was discovering, later on, during the beginning of my divorce process, that she reappeared representing my husband in matters connected to the same business for which I had initially hired her. From my perspective as the original client in this context, this created an obvious professional conflict of interest and completely eroded any trust I had left. My experience consists of payments without results, lack of follow-through, and professional decisions that I consider highly questionable. For these reasons, I CANNOT RECOMMEND HER SERVICES. My husband retained Mr Acevedo for a Family Law matter. We live out of state, did research and was…read moreswayed my Mr Acevedo's kind demeanor. He promised to & we signed a contract to retain him for help in regaining my husbands parental rights to his child. Our last Attoeny quit before the case had finished up because she wanted more $$$. Mr Acevedo understood as with most Fathers in a family court case, the funds were slim. He offered to take $1000 up front to represent my husband in court (so my husband would not have to fly the 3000 miles to be there which we could not afford). He never interviewed my husband prior to the hearing, did not even look at the file it seems, because he acted caught off guard through the entire hearing. He did not make one valid argument nor produce any of the evidence we had that supported our claims of the mother being unfit (videos, pictures, police reports, arrest records, etc). He allowed my husband to lose the case and all rights to his child. And be left with a bill to pay the other parties attorney fees (well in to the 5 digits amount) And then did not get in touch with us for over 3 weeks, sent no final judgment paperwork from court or return any emails. When finally my husband reached Mr Acevedo, he stated he would need more $ up front to continue with the case, knowing very well we did not have it, as was stated prior to retaining him. He made a promise he did not keep, he left my husband worse off in the case, without his child and out $1000 and walked away, never looking back. Do not trust this Attorney with your case. Especially if it is a Family Law case. Because you will lose more than your $, you will lose your heart, your child.
