Established in 2009.

President Michael OBrien has been serving people with Medicare, Life, and Health insurance products since 1989. In 2009 he grew to open OB1 Insurance Agency in Mayfield,NY to better support his clients and the community. In 2020 he made office space available in Clifton Park for customers in the Capital Region. We currently share office space with Advisors Insurance Brokers in Clifton Park, a partner insurance agency.

Meet the Business Owner: Michael O.

I grew up in Gloversville, NY. In 1989 when I was 19 I began my career in the insurance industry focusing on the senior population. Insurance was a lot different back then and I have witnessed it change a lot over the years. I worked all over upstate and downstate NY primarily serving people with Medicare supplements, hospital indemnity insurance, life insurance, long term care insurance, and annuities. I was on the road often and it was hard work but it was rewarding helping people get the coverage they needed and being a person they could count on. In 2009 I was able to finally open my own agency to better support my clients and the community. I was then able to hire new agents to serve the community and pass along my knowledge and experience to them. Today we continue to serve many people in upstate NY and beyond with their Insurance needs.
