One of the team members, Elise or Eli's was locking up the park and doing his search of the park and stumbled upon my wallet. Not only did I not know realize I left my wallet, but Elise took it into his own hands and searched the Aventura data base and called my house to let me know that I left my wallet. If it wasn't for Elise and the staff, I would never have known and would have been frantically searching the next day. However, Elise called around an hour after I left and made sure I retrieved my wallet. So for that I thank you and the staff! The park has always been home for me and my dog. The staff is an extended family that is always helpful and amazing to our community. Aventura park is one of a kind.

McTyre Park was once part of the town of Pembroke Park. After West Park became incorporated they took over running the park. In 2023 McTyre Park received a brand new playground. The park also has basketball courts and a soccer field, picnic pavilions and restrooms. McTyre Park has the town senior center and there are activities every day as well as field trips. There is also a kids soccer league. Parts of McTyre Park can be rented from the town of West Park for private events. Parks and greenspaces like those found in McTyre Park bring the community together. I googled this place and showed up and I was so impressed with the coaches, the stretching they teach them and the drills and training. Literally they develop a player from head to toe. Within 2 weeks I saw a major improvement in my son as a basketball player. Serge is so on spot with his assessment of the players and the game plan to develop them. Just wish I found this place 2 years ago.
