They only got two stars because I did get funding.. however... I only requested a small amount to midigate getting more than need due to interest, also due to being told if I needed additional funding just ask like it's nothing to get as if they care in a time where pple like myself are going through something extremely traumatic and vulnerable... As if it would be this pain free no fuss type of process no you can apply again after this date no specific additional information would be approved as movement in your case to get said additional funding.. just a lot of misleading information that I would have definitely considered 1 before ever utilizing this company and 2 before requesting the amount I requested. Because of all I'm going through and already been through I missed the birth of my first bloodline grandbaby born.. I'll never get that back.. I specifically asked, is there a time limit on when I can apply again.. I was told NO... Only to find out there is.. I was then told there has to be changes in the case.. THERE ARE HUGE CHANGES IN MY CASE... I was then just told I was still denied because the underwriters don't feel comfortable......... Imagine being charged by your legal counsel for all that back and forth and still walking away with out the help.... The second amount was even smaller.... When utilizing a company such as this one, there should always be some level of integrity the company requires when making clear borrowers guidelines.... I feel with every call that was purposely blurred and preditory... I tried again with more movement in my case and here I am 2 weeks or so without even so much as a simple follow up email. If I had it to do over again I would never have chosen this company at all.. I do not believe there is any specific formula to determine any decisions but like I was told it simply the underwriters discretion.. if the underwriter feels comfortable... read more

Honestly you guys should be ASHAMED. im negative 249$ thanks to you guys not giving a crap about me. Or my case. I left a 0 star review. Do better. I haven't even gotten half of what I asked for. My lawyer approved 7500 originally. Then approved 3000. Both times you gave less than nothing. My business is in debt thanks to the accident. I seriously just want 500 today SO I WOULDN'T STARVE AND I COULD GO TO A BUSINESS CONVENTION so I could try to stop my financial bleeding. Since I cant rely on you to be fair and just. Im offering you a opportunity. Ethier help me today with 500- or im going to apply for funding elsewhere. And never return. And I will let everyone I know you are crooks. Your already gaining huge money off my case- your interest is INSANE. But you wont fund a simple 500$ stop gap measure. I see you. Oasis Honestly every single company that deals in litigation funding. Genuinely doesn't seem to care. Sigh. I guess im stuck being poor and jobless until my settlement is closed. Also the amount they sent to WU- I never received. Apparently no store will fund a WU over 300. So 500 is in limbo. And I have no way to retrieve it. And of course customer service just does not care read more

Do not apply for funding to this company. It is an absolute scam. They are in no rush to get anyone their funding. They are in no rush wanting to help. They lie about the times. They almost never do it in the 72 hours they say. You will not get updates and they will lie to you about what is going on with your case. Supervisors are in no rush to help or call back customers. This is the worst company and their interest rate is outrageous. Save your time and money and go elsewhere read more

We STILL have not received funding after it supposedly being ACH deposited into our bank. The bank has seen no sign of the money! I am beginning to think they deposited it into someone else's account!!! This is ridiculous! Now their site is saying we have no account! read more

Oasis financial received over 22k from my settlement for borrowing 6k! I don't know how this is lawful. In my opinion , It's like a form of extortion. I would advise anyone with intentions of borrowing to take into consideration the possibility of paying 366% on what u borrow. read more

2020 -2024 Has been a very trying time my Fiancé selected a loan form them. As a senior citizen they charged him almost 6,000 on his loans. This is predatory lending. I am hoping your office will renegotiate his interest rate of 93%. He's is nearing 70 yrs old and the interest rates alone is enough to send him to the hospital. Your customers are mostly low income and fixed living check to check. He took out close to $3000 and now he owes 9000 roughly in interest because you charge 93% after 12 months or 18month. Oasis Ny state limits interest to 16%. Please reduce this read more

This is a company that doesn't keep their word. I was told that i would be able to receive a second loan but was not true. If i knew about this kind of place i would have never been okay with the small loan. I have brain trauma and now i will need to hold back on treatment i wanted to receive. Even after i told the Director she was not apologetic and quiet uninterested in my claim. I will not be asking for another loan from this company and will let everyone i know. They really don't about helping people but rather just use you for all the interest they want to charge. read more

They have high interest rates, they are rude disrespectful will hang up for no reason. Wasn't like I was rude to them I was reading a email n they hung up. They speak down on you. Not Recommended. I have a lawsuit judgment, so my superior court case is over. I want a very small loan secured by a relatively large judgment that I cannot yet enforce. Spoke to James of Oasis on the phone. He was terse and unfriendly, which is poor customer service to a prospective borrower. James said I must be represented by an attorney to get a loan. I told him that when the case is over, no-one is represented by a attorney (generally). He spoke with his supervisor and they were adamant that you must have an attorney. He then hung up on me. These people don't seem very bright and are also kinda rude. About 3 years ago I previously asked Oasis for a loan during the lawsuit. They were kinda rude and intransigent at that time also. A judgment is a present property interest versus a pending lawsuit where a judgment is merely prospective. I wouldn't want to do business with Oasis. read more

I was put in a financial situation and had nowhere else to look. I understand how the company makes money with the interest and every BS fee you have. The biggest and most disgusting tactic Oasis took was to call me and tell me that they were not issuing a check at the moment. I picked a check as payment because it was free. The unreasonable fees to either send via a service or transfer to a bank is thievery. If it wasn't that I had already committed myself and went ahead and made plans with the money. I would have retracted from accepting the loan. It was after I signed that I received the call with the bad news Oasis didn't do me a favor they screwed me at the end. It's my fault for accepting but I gave someone my word. I'll take the hit but will make sure no one in my circles ever does business with this institution. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! I unfortunately had over 1 week of my time wasted by their underwriter Brian Moonin. Let me detail my experience from front to back so that you guys can see that this is NOT the place to go to if you actually need HELP. I applied 8 days ago in what looked like a pretty standard case since I already worked with another agency. I asked if there was anything I can do to expedite the process so they gave me his email and i sent the underwriter all of the court documents that were requested from any company. From there....it went downhill.. I didn't receive any response or update for a couple of days. I sent emails asking if there is anything I can do or help with. I finally get an email from Brian saying he reached out to my attorney. Nothing else. Days go by again. I am emailing and asking for updates. He states the same thing. All the while my attorneys office already sent everything requested. He still wont say WHAT he actually needs from them. Just says in an email to reach out to my attorney office AGAIN. He still doesnt detail anything. Finally my attorneys office responds and says they provided everything asked. Guess what? He doesnt respond again about that or what he needs....Weekend goes by and I follow up again and he states the same thing. At this point I am fed up... So today I emailed him and stated that if we cannot find a resolution today, go ahead and close my file. Guess what the PETTTTTYYYYY underwriter Brian Moonin did? He says oh I was just waiting on 1 specific piece of info today that would have got this taken care of..but I'll close your file now...So he got his feelings hurt because I decided that today was enough. that 8 days of waiting for something was enough. So he instantly declined me due to that. NOT because I was not approved, but because he wanted to be PETTY and hurt me personally. I will seek legal action against this company. read more

They suck I got a good case going on and of course they deni me . Multi funding I highly recommend.

I was able to get an advance with no problem. When I applied for a 2nd advance, I was denied because I have an open bankruptcy. This was a BS reason to deny my application, given the fact that I already had an open Bankruptcy when I applied for the first loan that was approved! The main rub was all of the calls and hoops the team went through to get the fees waived so that I could have all of my funds only to be denied! How disappointing. I'm sorry that I ever did business with Oasis Financial. read more

This place sucks. I applied and never got a response. don't use them if you need cash .

Just tried to inquire about their rates for a potential settlement case. They are adamant on not giving out their rates until you apply. What's so secretive? Reason; they charge 25% to 60% of the loan..sure they'll fund your settlement... they can get 60% of what they loan you against an easy case. Worst part of this business is their customer support. I just got disconnected online chat when asking for their rates because I wouldn't give them my info before they gave me their rates. Stay away from this scam! Almost as bad as pay day loans. Other ways to fund your settlement. read more

We just settled our lawsuit yesterday and used Oasis a number of times during the duration. I can say, the first loan we received was timely and seamless. The last time, the beginning of this month was a joke and if we didn't have an attorney play the "middle man", we might still be waiting. They advertise, you may receive your loan in as little as 24 hours. I know that's not set in stone but what I'm going to tell you pissed me off to no end. We applied for the loan on a Monday and called Tuesday and Wednesday and the operator informed us the underwriter hasn't made a decision yet. We called our attorney lat that Wednesday and she informed us Oasis hasn't even asked for our information. She called them personally and after another day and a half, we were approved in the afternoon before they closed. NOW, the next day, we called Western Union to make sure the money was there and it wasn't. Mind you, we are PST and they are CST, 2 hours ahead so it was 2:00 their times. We called and the operator said it hadn't been sent yet and I explained we were approved the day before and it had been 5 days. She stated she would send them an alert and an hour later it was there. I was and still am pissed. They advertise hope and quickness as the customer stays stressed out until they take their foot off our back. read more

I was thinking about doing until I seen reviews here and BBB. Just wait for your settlement it's not worth the hassle!

I am in the midst of a legal case that is taking forever. I have been in litigation for a year and a half. Prior to Thursday July 2nd I had received two loans of 500 each against my case. My last one was over a year ago and I planned not to do it again. However I received word of a death in my family,(my father) so I needed cash quick to buy a plane ticket.(900 Dollars) I requested the money at Midnight on Thursday morning and was told I'd hear back by the end of business. The entire day I waited to hear something so I would know when I could fly home. Nobody ever called me. I finally reached out to them and was told that my loan was declined. You have no idea what bad customer service that is. I will be paying a huge amount of money on interest when my case settles, and for them to not even give me the courtesy of a phone call so I could search for other options is appalling. So now I'm stuck here until at least Monday trying to get funds. It's a holiday weekend so I could not even get a bank loan or credit increase on a credit card so I could buy a ticket. Terrible business practice, and contrary to what your commercials say its clear that you do not care, not one bit. When my case settles and I'm asked whether I would recommend your company the answer will be a resounding NO. read more

Oasis has truly made a difference in my ongoing process to healing not just physically but Mentally also.

They were very understanding of my situation. Got me a loan right away

Great group of people they are great for when you need a good jump start and. Good. Motivation on helping when. Need it

The loan experience went so smoothly and quickly that I was shocked. Thanks for great customer service.

Oasis Financial are a rip off I need a loan while my case went to court. They sent me $600 I had to pay $80 to get the check. It took my case almost two years to settle and they said I owed them $1,705.00 Please please don't use this company You will pay way more than the loan is worth read more

They have the worst customer service me and my husband have been hung up on several times he was told 2 days ago after waiting almost 4 weeks for a response that the loan was approved but the person he needs to speak to is unavailable or will call him back and never does. My husband has been waiting on a call back for 6 hours now. I only gave 1 star because 0 was not an option. read more

I'm disappointed..I can't work like that I asked for 3000$ and it wouldn't have been a issue with that being payed back and I only got approved for 600$ and didn't receive but 500$ because of a 100$ fee to send me the money.so I didn't even get the whole amount.I don't feel like that right to pay back that fee and I didn't get to spend it for my bills.y'all should really consider taking chime and other ways to cashout where it won't take so much money.also to consider that People really do pay their bills with the money and just not use it for fun because that 500$ wasn't enough for nothing but to pay my car and car insurance.all my house bills I had to force my body to work read more

I was told Oasis is the biggest so i did some review research. None of the reviews that I read mentioned that Oasis was the cheapest, which is really all I care about once I get the money. I learned that there are tons of funders out there with different ways to lure a customer into their loans. Lots of pizazz but nothing was clear cut. Only when I saw the repayment chart on the home page of Redwood Funding did I finally see what I was looking for: cheap, no fees or compounding funding. I used them and couldn't be happier. I am the victim of a car accident in Georgia. My lawyer told me to try Oasis Funding or Oasis Financial. Whatever. I called them. They are a big company and know what they are doing. They didn't really give me straight answer about how much it's all gonna cost until i had my lawyer help me fill out the Application. Boy was this a mistake. I saw the charges and it blew me away. First, they charge fees to do the funding. The fees are bigger the more that you borrow. Why? is the work bigger? Then they compound the interst rate on a monthly basis. This means their great rate of 2.99% is really like 75% a year!. Moreover, I asked about getting the money through Fed Ex cause I dont have a good bank account-$135! for a Fed Ex. All these extra fees and costs over the huge interest rate. No oasis man. Try Redwood FUnding or Momentum. Their cheaper read more
