I was lucky really as, if like me, the thought of major dental work makes sweaty and light-headed, the staff here are fantastic and really do put you at ease. I ended up having a bridge/veneer thing done which after several different dentists had told me I'd have no choice than implants (costing £5k plus each and involving surgery) I was pleased when my dentist here offered me the option involving the least amount of pain and expense. Believe it or not, I first discovered Surrenden dental practice via a Groupon offer. It's a completely private surgery but I'm yet to discover what benefits NHS dentists hold - they still charge a fortune and my experiences have always been bad. Anyway, I went along for a full consultation and set of x-rays. Since then I have had one extraction, one root filling and two crowns! Yes, my teeth were in rather a bad way (due to clumsiness not poor hygiene I must add!) but now they look 100 times better - note to self, remember to put hands down first when falling, don't land on your face again (I've done this twice!) My dentist, Mr Ed O'Toole, is caring and professional. He fully explains everything he is going to to and gives a variety of treatment options dependent on budget. Best of all, he manages to do virtually all his treatments without causing me any pain - I know, its a miracle!! If anyone is looking for a dentist in the local area I can't recommend them enough.

Sharon the receptionist was quite welcoming when I arrived. She led me towards the back of the building where the reception area actually was. Shortly after checking in, Dr Brian greeted me and then led me to the front of the building where the dental room was. He explained what he was going to do with my teeth and advised me to tell him if I had any problems or was not happy during my visit. He and Carrie who was the dental nurse during my visit were assuring and calming. Before I left I was given an envelope about the practice's insurance and payment plans as well as a magnet and business cards. I was very pleased with the fact that they did not try and push me into purchasing a plan. I highly recommend this dental practice and am considering joining them in the near future!

I enquired into the whitening packages that the dental hygiene clinic offers and they were really helpful in recommending treatment that would give me the result I was looking for. I had the Zoom whitening treatment and I am so so so happy with the result. My teeth are whiter than I ever thought they could be and have provided me with a far better result than I have had in the past with conventional whitening methods. The interior of the clinic is lovely and relaxing, it is very modern and clean and a pleasure to be in. I am so happy and would highly recommend the treatment and Jen to anyone wanting to try whitening.

They tell you to come back, when you do they might take your name and say they will call if they get a cancellation. I haven't received any calls back. Visited again and apparently they gave out some NHS forms randomly earlier in the week. This is no way to treat patients. I was told hardly anyone bothers with the NHS anymore and we are very busy with private patients.
