The 2 gentlemen working at Oasis in Seaside were absolutely perfection. I threw my back out while on vacation and had tried all traditional meds & really didn't want to spend 5 hours in the ER. So I begged my husband to a pot shop. I walked in and asked the gentleman what was best for back pain, they suggested an edible (I dont smoke) that "would taste bad but would work great". I love the store and all of the budtenders.. except for the tall guy with the poofy curly blonde hair. Was trying to make a 70$ purchace and tried to tell me that it came out to 130$ for a 50 cartridge, and a 20$ pen. These prices were supposedly after tax as well. I'll get right to the point, they are BULLSHIT artists that sell EXPIRED products and ones that say KEEP REFRIGERATED sit on a warm shelf. I served this country and now I'm experiencing PTSD. Being my first rodeo, I figured a local dispensary would have the knowledge of what I needed. I told him I was here on vacation and was not interested in smoking anything because the hotel would not allow it, and also didn't want to take any left overs on the plane. He suggested edibles and said the THC gummies in Texas are only a $50 fine. Actually it's a 2nd degree felony. Had I known I would have never bought these. The Dave's space cakes (contain butter,sugar, etc.) I bought were over a month expired and also needed to be refrigerated. I immediately went back inside and asked for one that was not expired and he said they were all out of date and no one else has ever complained about them. They are closed as I type this, so I can't return them and nowI have a plane to catch. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place like the plague and goto Highway 420 just down the street instead. The gummies are in the trash can outside the holiday inn. I wouldn't be surprised if they go dig them out and try to resell them. read more
