We had to hire someone else to fix the fence. They were supposed to put landscape fabric down underneath the entire rock garden area, which we have discovered they did not. So we now have weeds coming up and it's only been two months. After moving the rocks we have found huge areas with no landscape fabric, which we will have to fix on our own. We had to shovel and move 70+ 5 gallon pails of rocks and move them as they left a huge pile of them in the back. We Dug out the area for the fire pit and moved it on our own as they didn't put it back where it belongs, and for the grey stones in front we still haven't finished cleaning out all the wood chips that they left. They left our yard a mess and never came back to finish the job. Would never recommend hiring this company

Same issues as the other reviewer. Dave was sweet as hell until the work started. A detailed list…read moreof work to be done and cost breakdown was loosely supplied. Though Dave seemed to always find a way to say "this costs more" or "this was not in the agreement..." One would think that disposal would be part of the agreement. I explicitly laid out what I wanted done and paving stones was ancillary to my want - I needed the grade raised 300 mm and I was very clear on this. Dave decided that 300 mm was way too much and involved too much work. After constant arguing with him about what needs to be done (what we agreed upon) he had so warmly ripped up my yard, put 10% of the stone down and then pulled some super shady stuff. I saw him moving stone with the Bobcat, and go out back and say I am going to get survey gear to layout the grades as needed. He tells me he is just moving the stone to make room for gravel to come in. I go out, and when I return, he has removed all of the stone and equipment. Left a ton of trash lying around. When called on it, he said he was quitting and my deposit is now his. I started to pursue a legal claim, but when doing the worst case math - not that he would have kept receipts - I figured whatever, I would likely get back just the legal fees. Needless to say, he left our backyard ripped up (no grass), no patio or walkway and in need to hire someone else on short notice in the middle of the summer. We managed to get it done using Western Paving Stone, but Dave and his wife are total crooks. I wish nothing but bankruptcy for them. I refrained from leaving comments out of being a reasonable person, however, seeing he has done the same thing to someone else, a negative review is warranted. My backyard looked more or less the same as the other person.
