My favorite activities are Happy Hour on Friday's and the 19th hole on Saturday's. The bar staff is courteous and attentive to your every need. The members are friendly and so much fun! They even welcomed us knowing we were Alabama fans. LOL! The Brickyard has been my main source of entertainment since moving to Macon. When missing home the most, I just start looking forward to my next Brickyard visit!

Established in the early 1900's, it boasts an 18 hole golf course, a huge fitness center, 13 tennis courts, a state-of-the-art aquatics facility, full dining and top notch banquet services. When you enter the main building, what hits you is the very traditional and elegant decor, lighting and with deep rich wood trim throughout. The buffet itself was fantastic. So many delicious dishes. Unfortunately I left my phone at the table and didn't want to go back just to take pictures. The staff throughout the facility was warm, welcoming and very pleasant. They were always making sure you had everything you need. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with stately big oak trees, beautiful shrubs and bushes and highlighted with colorful seasonal and perennial flowers. What a truly delightful experience. Kudos to everyone who makes this club a top notch facility.

Anywho. open space was very large with an open bar area. I think it is a great palce to hold functions, as well there is an extra opening in the back if you would like to have food. Biggest Con!! The bathroom. The females restroom was horrible!!! Sinks were out of order with signs, there were chairs but it was so old I wouldn't dare sit down in the bathroom. Need less to say, if I had to use the restroom I would drive back to ATL than use this place.
