My go-to spot for an oil service or quick-fix. Beyond their efficiency, convenience, and high quality work, they're so friendly and helpful here! read more

Completed smog check efficiency and effective with great customer service. Will definitely return for car service.

There's nothing more important than a mechanic and shop owner you can TRUST. Sam (owner) and Jose (mechanic) at Oaks Shell will fix what your car needs to perfection. When it DOESN'T need work, they will be the first to tell you. Thank you for everything you do, Oaks Shell. Jamie in Calabasas read more

Surprisingly great experience. Quick and efficient. Had a smog test and had no issues. Will def return.

Fantastic smog experience - even when it didn't pass for some vehicle fault codes. They told me exactly what I needed to do in order to pass and viola. Convenient AND the best price I found! read more

They have The best coffee anywhere. I drive a lot on my job and couldn't find better coffee, better than Starbucks or anything. Lady who works in the store makes it exceptionally well read more

Quick Smog test..just called ahead and took me right away Cost was $60. Great service

Took my car here for a smog. They did a great job. They are very friendly and decent priced. My car was ready sooner than expected.

Came in for required smog check. I think it was $50. They saw me within 30 minutes. (I killed time waiting at the shops in the plaza). They transmitted the info to DMV. Happiness. read more

Fast service, competent and good prices on smog checks! Been here for tuneups, sensor fixes, brakes and more.

I had a screw in one of my tires and I emailed Oaks Shell on Christmas Day to see if they could help me. By dinner time I had received a response from them! I went down there first thing the next morning and in 15 minutes time my tire was fixed (for a very reasonable price!) and I was on my way, thank you for the great service! read more

I've gone to this shop several times for small things - flats, etc. They've always been friendly, quick, and reasonable. They also do more complex work, so they're my new go-to. read more

Correction: OAK Shell, and every time I fill up at this gas station I think, "If only the people back East could see this." There is a gorgeous view of the distant hills framing the North edge of the Valley.....and there is usually piped-in classical music as you pump your gas. Now, that's California livin'! read more

I have to say this shop and maurice really take care of my mom and her car. My moms older and whenever she pulls in the guys always take care of her and the prices are always fair. I used to take my car to the dealership because i couldn't trust any of these smaller shops and the dealership starts and $250 for a basic oil change. Welp no more now i also take my car here and the really hook me up. This morning we pulled in and jose took care of the problem in 5 minutes. I just wanted to say THANKS OAK SHELL, because these days you cant find honest people anywhere anymore. read more

Best place to get a smog check. They didn't even make me wait 1 minute. Got there, asked if I can get a smog check, and they were literally asking me if I can pull up my car and pop the hood. Great prices also, definitely will be coming back with all my vehicles read more

Excellent, caring, reliable and professional people..., thanks to Sam and his team for being so great! I highly recommend this place.

Sami is fair and honest, a real good guy. I absolutely recommend this place for repairs

5 stars isn't enough for this place! I've never had an auto care place take care of me like these gentlemen have!! They went above and beyond and were so gracious! I can't stress enough what a pleasure it was to come to them and have them replace my battery - they even gave me a loaner (which they didn't have to do at all) while my new battery was ordered. I'll be coming to them for all my auto care for years to come! read more

If you want fast and efficient service without costing you an arm and a leg, then Jose is your man! He took what we assumed would be a drawn out and costly process and made it much less excruciating for us by providing friendly and professional service at a very honest price. Thank you very much Jose! read more

oaks shell quoted me a price without any coupons, gimmicks, marked up and discounted price games of $49.00 total. They were busy and I was told to come back the following day at 4pm. I showed up promptly, they took me right away, did the smog check, processed the paperwork and I was on my way all within 25 mins. A happy customer. read more

Fast smog check and friendly service !! Brought two cars in and was there for less than 30 minutes.

Such a pleasant STAR smog check experience at Oaks Shell Auto Care. Drop your car off to the nice mechanic with your DMV paperwork and car key, go inside to fill out a work order, walk to Gelsons for coffee and a muffin, check Facebook on your phone at the outside seating area, return to the Oaks Shell station after 30 minutes, pay about $50, and voila! Thank you very much Oaks Shell! read more

This shell has helped me multiple times with their mechanic when I was in a rush. Their price to me was reasonable. They did the work in time and they've been friendly. read more

Great neighborhood service station with trusted, honest mechanic + reasonable labor rates. Also one of the only gas stations that does not charge for air or water. We regularly gas up here and have our cars serviced here too! I could not recommend more highly. read more

Great please for service. Sadly it's rare you find a mechanic you trust and who constantly looks for ways to save you money, but this guy, Jose, is such a man. I used to take my car to the dealer but once it was out of warranty I needed a more reasonable place and feel blessed to find them. I've sent a lot of friends there and they all rave about Jose. The entire staff is just honest and nice and in the mechanic industry I'm used to aloof and a rip every chance they get. read more

I've been going to this service station for years. They do a great job and they stand behind their work.

I have been a loyal customer to the same owner, Sami Hadad, for over 40 years he owns multiple Shell station. My family and I purchase gas multiple times a week, we have our smog checks done there as well as minor automotive repairs. I never had a bad experience. They are honest, friendly, and do very competent repairs. read more

José is a great mechanic and all the guys are very friendly. They have serviced several of my vehicles over the years even doing a brake job on my 52 Dodge pick-up. This is just the sort of neighborhood gas station and repair shop that every town should have! read more

My 1990 truck failed the smog test. I went to other mechanics and they said it's a very hard problem to solve and they would try if I'm OK with spending a lot of money. The states smog test website said this station was the only one recognized in Calabasas to do the repair. Jose is fantastic. He diagnosed the problem and was kind enough to show me what was wrong. He presented the option and did repair at a very low and reasonable cost. It passed the smog test. I feel very fortunate to have found Jose, he is obviously an outstanding honest and extremely knowledgeable mechanic. read more

Smog check done quickly. I killed time in the grocery store which was next door. Wish they would have called me when it was done rather than me waiting one hour as quoted. I asked while they had the car if they could put air in the tires and they said yes. When I got the car back it still indicated low air. Oh well. At least the smog check was fast read more

Jose at Oak Shell was so wonderful to us today! And the owner Sami was very kind as he gave my daughter a lollipop. Thanks again!
