The hygienist was knowledgeable, and Dr. Silva clearly invests in her team's development and in helping patients find the root cause of their issues. I used to know the staff, Dr Silva remembered me, and I felt safe and cared for. None of that is true now. CHARACTER * I was her patient since before marriage, and we were pregnant at the same time! But she stopped using my nickname and reverted to my formal name despite my request. * She repeats the same story every visit about someone taking her photo at the airport due to a hair color similarity. This is very concerning as I've only seen this behavior with people with degenerative mental disease. It makes me very uncomfortable that she has told me this story at least 20 times & she tells it like the first time, every time. * She exaggerates minor issues into expensive treatments. Friends and colleagues who sought second opinions found her assessments inflated. She has a reputation for price gouging. STAFF * Constant turnover. Every visit has new staff, making continuity impossible. * They forget appointment purposes. I was once asked if I was there for post-op during an Invisalign check. * Scheduler claimed I hadn't had a cleaning in 1.5 years, which was incorrect (I'm there every 6 months). Where did those records go? * Over-reliance on technology. A hygienist claimed I was missing a tooth based on a scan, despite it being visibly present. * Calling the office is difficult; you reach machines or off-site services. INVISALIGN * Dr Silva pushed Invisalign for years. I paid a $1,200 deposit but canceled due to finances. The office claimed it was irreversible, but Invisalign called the office to make them refund me. * The front desk refunded me twice by mistake, requiring me to correct it. * I eventually got Invisalign with new insurance. It was supposed to be 18 weeks but turned into 18 months due to staff turnover and poor management. * Multiple Invisalign staff gave conflicting advice. One misread tray numbers and tried to have me skip 3 weeks of trays. I had to leave & come back with my calendar to prove that she was wrong. She still doubted me but went back to look & found the 3 weeks of "missing" trays right in the box. * Initially, they insisted on regular visits, then abruptly gave me all trays at once (the Invisalign person had quit). * At the end of 18 weeks my bite was misaligned. Dr Silva took cell phone photos and texted them to a friend orthodontist. I asked the Invisalign employee how Dr Silva did not foresee this outcome, & she said "I wish I knew" & that Dr Silva is "just the dentist who orders the trays" & doesn't do anything else. She didn't even know how to take the scan of my mouth. * I got a 2nd opinion & that orthodontist revealed: 1) Dr Silva's awards are for sales, not quality. 2) There are several tier options of Invisalign & I was only offered the most expensive one 3) A real orthodontist would have seen the scan & known that by the end, my bite would be wrong. Manual tweaking/change is required & you can't just let the computer do all the work. * I asked Dr Silva to cover the cost of seeing a new orthodontist. Her defense was "no one is perfect"; if I'm paying thousands of dollars for treatment I do expect perfection. She offered her friend's help instead. * I had to visit her friend's office after hours for a scan. Got 15 more weeks of trays, then 12 more. 18 weeks became 18 MONTHS. Still no retainers 4 weeks after button removal (my new dentist orders retainers immediately to prevent shifting). * At my final appointment, staff forgot the purpose of my visit. Dr Silva was in a meeting and only polished two teeth despite promising full polishing. I'll have my new dentist finish it. Save yourself time, money, sanity, and the safety of your teeth. DO NOT USE this practice.

I do not recommend. I was given misleading information about this dentist being a Preferred Delta…read moreDental PPO provider, which they also advertise on their website. After I got the estimates for the dental work to be done from the insurance, which were higher than expected, I asked to be sent somewhere else to complete the rest of the work, with a dentist that is actually a Preferred Delta Dental PPO provider for real. But this office decided to charge my insurance for the rest of the work that they never performed and now I have to take action in getting my money back to go somewhere else. They charged my insurance for installing a crown that they did not install! Be very, very careful! Do not trust their website. Check with your insurance. I am still walking around without a tooth, and they charged my insurance for completing this work! The office did not answer my email either, regarding billing. I asked for a refund for the part of the claim they charged my insurance, but they did not complete. They still have my tooth but charged my insurance for installing it in my mouth. Well, it is not in my mouth! Ciara is very rude and unhelpful and did not call me back after the front desk said she will check on coverage and let me know. She continues to insist the dentist is a PPO delta dental preferred provider even though he is not. Their website also advertises this. No one answered my email either. It is quite unbelievable that they charged my insurance for installing a crown, and I still have a missing tooth. They did not call me or email me back or contact me back in any way. Very dishonest. Be warned! All I asked was to be issued a refund for the portion that the insurance paid them for, but they did not yet complete. I would also like my crown to be sent to a preferred Delta Dental PPO provider, so I can go there to get my tooth fixed. I think it is a reasonable request, given that this office would charge me 30% more for out of pocket because well, of course, according to Delta Dental, they are NOT a preferred PPO Delta Dental provider, as they claim, no matter what they advertise on their website or what Ciara tries to convince you.

While I have only needed routine exams and cleaning I have come to see the office staff , besides Ciera , become increasingly rude and disrespectful. Along with this there has been a new younger dentist working who in my opinion spoke to me as if I were a 5 year old , and when a small space in an old filling was brought to his attention by the hygienist he never addressed it to her or to me . I should have asked and questioned him while he was in the room , however I was so put off by the tone /condescending manner in which he spoke to me I didn't even know how to interact with him . I and other members of my family have left messages for calls back .... And they never come . Then when you have missed a cleaning instead of being courteous and accommodating you are shamed ! Why can the receptionist keep her opinions to herself , be happy one is seeking dental care now , and make the appointment?? She doesn't know what is going on in that individuals life . We as a family will be looking for a new practice . Maybe staying small and keeping a personal touch is the better way to go Dr. Thomas.

Dr. Kaushal Desai stands out not only for his expertise but also for his kindness and time efficiency! The appointment was completed within an hour, which I really appreciate given how little time we all have in our day for doctors' appointments -- and the quality is absolutely still there! When I mentioned a sensitive tooth, Dr. Desai was gentle and attentive, explaining each step, reviewing and assessing every tooth, and concluding with recommendations. Dr. Desai offered helpful suggestions like using Sensodyne for gum recession and shared best practices for whitening products. I absolutely plan to return for a professional whitening treatment and appreciate that Dr. Desai can make custom trays for a perfect fit -- I want a higher level of whitening than the over-the-counter products. Dr. Desai's background speaks for itself. He graduated from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2012 with Honors in the advanced standing program for international dentists. He also holds a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (2010) and received a Gold Medal for community service in preventive dentistry at Rajiv Gandhi University, Karnataka, India. Dr. Desai is affiliated with the American Dental Association, American Dental Student Association, and Pennsylvania State Dental Association, and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. My first visit was through a Groupon -- which is a fantastic way to discover skilled professionals like Dr. Desai. The office is convenient with great parking, and I left cavity-free and very happy with the experience. Groupon gave me a great introduction to a practice that clearly values community access to care -- an ethical commitment many in healthcare share. I left with no cavities, every tooth assessed and tended to, knowledge on how to maintain my teeth, along with product recommendations -- I'll definitely return! Thank you! Highly recommend Limerick Family Dentistry for quality, efficiency, and care.

Dear Dr. Nguyen, Let…read moreme begin by saying that we absolutely love you as our children's dentist. This message is not a reflection of you but rather of your front desk staff, whose behavior today was both unprofessional and deeply concerning. I attempted to provide feedback regarding their communication, specifically their use of all caps in texts, which came across as unprofessional and dismissive. I simply asked for our son to be referred to as BJ in your communications to avoid confusion, and while we understood that his legal name cannot be changed in your system due to insurance requirements, the staff repeatedly ignored this request as if I was an idiot. Instead of addressing our concerns respectfully, they escalated the situation, made condescending remarks, and accused me of saying inappropriate things I do not recall, which I found unwarranted and offensive but the icing on the cake is when they dismissed our kids from the practice. I still don't believe it was warranted from my actions but it's clear they want to win an argument vs. build rapport and deescalate the situation. Deny me but to deny kids is petty and super unprofessional. Even I still don't feel as if me being dismissed from the practice was warranted if they went that route. When I expressed dissatisfaction, I was met with hostility, accused of violating HIPAA, and dismissed from the practice without justification. Your staff even brought up personal anecdotes unrelated to the issue, further aggravating the situation. It felt like they were ganging up on me during the phone call, which was extremely distressing and unprofessional. Even other low scoring reviews on here for your business you can see in their responses that they like to battle with customers. They meet people with hostility instead of trying to resolve the issue. I am deeply troubled by how I was treated, especially since my feedback was given respectfully and in good faith initially I admit I was frustrated but still never disrespectful when your staff called me. Which is very normal with conflict. Their responses, both via text and phone, were dismissive, argumentative, and lacked basic customer service etiquette. They have left me feeling unheard and unfairly targeted. I would appreciate it if you could contact me directly to discuss this matter, as I was denied the opportunity to speak with you despite multiple requests. My phone number is on file. This has been a very upsetting experience, and I feel it is important for you to be aware of how your staff's behavior is affecting your patients. Thank you for your time and attention.

Terrible experience with this dentist. I went in to fix a filling that had broken off. The gap that…read morewas left from the fallen filling was on the side of the tooth. Dr. Nguyen immediately recommended an amalgam filling or preferably a crown. I chose the amalgam due to the fact that i was paying out of pocket and was cheaper. When the filling was done, the contact with the other tooth was terrible and there was no floss line left. I came back to ask them to fix it a day later and he proceeded to tell me that the adjacent tooth is needed to support the amalgam filling and that's why there is no floss line left. He told me that if he tried to fix it, the filling would fall out and i would have to get a crown which was about 10 times more expensive. On top of all this, the injection of the Novocaine was terrible. The injection site has been hurting for over a week. This dentist functions like a used car salesman and sells you junk work. Do yourself a favor and don't fix you teeth at the junkyard.
