Brought in three tires from a big box store that refused to install the tires they sold us online, a through scheduled appointment. We discovered this place and were able to get same-day service. Professional and fast installation of all three tires. Excellent customer service from the manager and reasonably priced. Thank you!!! read more

Needed a quick patch and was in the area, they got me in and out in about 20 mins. They didn't try to upsell me into buying a new tire like most other tire places. Super honest, down to earth and pro I highly recommend read more

First off, G-man was super cool to talk to over the phone, always picked as questions came to mind. The decision to go with these guys was easy, great price, great customer service, both before and after my truck was finished. Best price on the tires I wanted, and the overall price including the alignment beat Costco, and free tire rotations every 5k miles. The guys finished the project, 4 tires plus struts and shocks under 4 hours. Nina at the front desk is a sweetheart too. So if youre shopping around for tires. Definitely give these folks a call :) read more

They constantly had my car going back and forth into the shop and it would come back with more issues then I had when I took it. I was being cheated out of my money and my car problems weren't being fixed. The workers messed up my car. Never go here I do not recommend. read more

This review is way overdue. I've been to Oakland Tore Pros several times for flats and tire replacement. Each and everyone the owner has been very kind and helpful. His prices are also lower than going to a dealer. Most recently, I tore the engine splash guard. Honda in San Leandro want to charge me $1200 to replace the entire bottom guard. I found the replacement part on Amazon and took it to Oakland Tire Pro and he replaced the piece for only $50 labor. We need more honest business people like this in Oakland! read more

Make sure they show you any parts they claim need replacing. They told me I needed my brakes replaced immediately, work I always do myself. They said "you shouldn't even drive it home". I did and checked them, there was still at least a year's worth of life on the pads. This is not the only time they've tried that. Additionally. It's May of 2022 and they're still requiring masks. Do with that what you will, but almost nobody else does, wisely. Finally, they have made up pricing on the spot, after the services are rendered. read more

I can't believe how much they went out of their way to help me out. I had a blowout on the freeway at around 4:45pm; I called to tell them that I would be getting my car towed there even though they were closing at 5pm, hoping to schedule an appointment for the morning. I mentioned my concern that 8am, when they normally open, would be late for my getting to work on time. I found out upon arriving at 7:45 the next morning that they had arrived early to open for me, and they told me that they had stayed late the night before in hopes I got the car towed soon enough! The tire change took about 5 minutes, even with a rim-dent check, and I was on the road by 8 and got to work on time! I feel like they really bent over backward to help me out. I'll be back! read more

They drove my car at night over to SF and gave me a fast track ticket. That's not very nice. Especially when I paid more than 700 for a tire rod to be replaced. read more

To say the service is stellar is an understatement. G-Man and his crew are amazing. When I moved to the Bay area, I worried about finding a good and honest shop, but I lucked out when I brought my car in for a tire issue. My dealership would have charged me almost a thousand to what these guys did in about 100. I've come back several times for oil changes and anything else my car needed. The communication by G and hospitality is stellar. The work is great too. I highly recommend this place. Bravo! read more

When I tell y'all I've NEVER had better service ANYWHERE, I mean it. G was the kindest and most well mannered auto shop owner/operator I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. His staff did an amazing job and were super kind as well. Tire rotation/balance and a full synthetic oil change for little to nothing, and I got an amazing quote on my back brakes. I will not take my business anywhere else y'all. Go see Mr. G for all your needs and rest assured he will take care of you. In addition Mr. G came out and opened my car door for me. If that's not kick-a*s customer service, I truly don't know what is. 5/5 stars doesn't cut it. These guys get 500/5 from this relocated southerner. read more

Costco had me schedule an appointment 2 weeks out and pre-pay for the full amount of the tires. I couldn't wait that lead time with a spare tire on because I have a child and drive long distances. A friend referred me to this shop. They do everything. I got my tires replaced and had an alignment for a very reasonable price. I'm very satisfied with the communication and responsiveness. Also, he took care of me same day. Will definitely return. read more

Goitom at Oakland Tire Pros helped me. What a super kind, professional, courteous, sincere gentleman he is. They looked at my tire and gave me reassurance. I would DEFINITELY come here again. While I waited he even gave me a tip on where I could get a bit to eat. Highly recommended. Thank you so much! read more

I needed 2 front tires replaced and was shocked at the quotes I was getting all around town even though I had already purchased the tires. Finally, I called Oakland Tire Pros. Not only did they quote me a very reasonable price, they told me to bring the car right in. With no appointment, they did the change immediately and in about 45 minutes, they had me back on the road. On another day, I needed a new battery and the same scenario played out. I'd purchased the battery and everyone's quote to change it was through the roof. Without even calling, I rolled into Oakland Tire Pros and they jumped right on it and had it done in less than 30 minutes at a very fair price. I'm calling them again today to get my rear brakes done. Call them. They are good guys with great service at fair prices in an overpriced market! read more

Oakland Tire Pros - Best shop in the Town - Auto Repair Near Me - Oakland, California

Best tire shop in Oakland, hands down. Goitom is a straight shooter - he'll tell you what your options are and get you out the door fast. I have a 2017 Prius, which - surprise! - doesn't have a spare tire. Before heading to the Mojave desert, I thought it best to get a spare for the trip. And man, not even the Toyota dealer would sell me one. "But where will you put it?" the parts guy at the dealership said. Goitom, on the other hand, says on the phone, "ya, we have one here that'll fit, but please come in and we'll try it on your car just to make sure." I cruised in, they jacked up my car and threw on the donut. It fit, and they sent me on my way for $100 even. If only every tire shop was this honest, efficient and reasonably priced. Thank you Goitom! read more

Excellent experience. Quick , efficient and great prices. Very very happy with their service highly recommend

I have payed $400.00 03/13/20 I pick my car up & a dog has been in my car . There was dog hair on my neck pillow in the back of the driver seat of my car along with dog prints on my seat along with juice stains ; Or someone had sex in the back seat. This is the last time I will be doing business with Oakland Tire Pro's . Mr. Gatum the manger I spoke with him & he acted like I was making this complaint all up for play he did not take me seriously. This is the 3rd time a situation has occrred my 1. Cigarette lighter was stolen out another one of my car of mine last year . 2. Some scratches was on top of my Toyota trunk of my car . I can't believe I drop my car off to get fixed brakes and rotors for my car & ; Some how somebody has been kicking it in the back seat of my car & ;also broke something in the back seat by the window along with spots on my seat on the backseat. I dropped my car off to get fixed why can I pick my car up in the same condition I left it... Mr. Gatum has one of his employee clean the mess up after my mom vouch for me & told him he was lying & we argue in front of his place of business & I told him I was not leaving until he clean up the mess his shop made in my back seat of my car. I can't believe a grown man does not take his place of business serious & think he can Show me away after his employees has vandalized the inside of my car the backseat ... This is the spot we always bring both our cars. We started with just tires but they do such great work and are so honest that we go here for any of our car needs. I brought my mom's car here thinking it needed major work (which is what another mechanic told me) and these folks told me most of it was unnecessary and the car was fine. He could have taken me for a lot of money and instead he earned a loyal customer! read more

Great experience! Goitom is professional, honest and he takes his time explaining tire options. He advised that I rotate my tire and use them up for few more months since given the summer weather. I bought 6 tires for my motorhome at a Tire Pros in Nevada while on a trip a few months ago and paid $168 extra for the tire protection plan. I called Oakland Tire Pros because there was a shimmy at freeway speeds and asked if they would re-balance the tires for me. They said they would so I drove in from Walnut Creek. When I got there the manager was borderline rude, which was OK, he was busy. The problem was that he said he would only balance the front tires and that the rear tires don't need to be balanced. I asked what happens when I rotate the rear tires to the front but didn't get an answer. I took it to Hayward Tire Pros and they balanced all 6. They agreed that any reputable tire shop will recommend balancing all tires on your vehicle. read more

Staff is friendly, the lady inside was very sweet. Will be returning for future maintenance when needed. Thank you

I have had such excellent service here that I had to write a review. I don't live in this neighborhood, and came originally for a good deal on an oil change. I have since had alignments, oil changes, tire rotations, bought new tires, got new shocks and struts, etc. for my 2004 SUV. It is rare for me, as a woman, to feel that I can trust a mechanic, but I can definitely say that Big G and his crew are first rate, and have never sold me anything my car didn't need. They have brought me home and picked me up, they have given me a loaner car, they even reattached a bumper in a clever way at no extra charge. Hard not to be loyal to a shop like this. read more

I just brought my friends car to get four new rubber shoes. Mr. G was wonderful & got his guys on it right away. My friend was SO happy with the job. And is telling her friends to come here. Lena is very helpful and gracious, always so busy, yet takes time to ask how you are doing. Mr. G checks out everything before you are done & checks with you if you've had any other questions or concerns. Haven't had this kind of service in I don't know how long! Brava! I trust the manager, Goitom, to give honest advice and do his best to take care of my tire needs. Staff is efficient and hardworking. I've bought many sets of tires at this place for our family's cars, even had a repair done, and the service has always been excellent. While waiting for the service, I can see that Goitom treats everyone with utter professionalism and respect, always goes above and beyond. The man is a gem. read more

Seriously the best service ever and super trustworthy!!!! I have a newer car and you would think I would take it to the dealership but coming here for over 4 years, I don't trust anyone more than Oakland Tire Pros and Mr. G! I could tell a million stories about how great him and Nina are, but just trust the reviews and bring your car here. They tell you exactly what you need and what can wait and never pressure you to do ANYTHING. The shop is outdated yes, but all I care about is my car, not how fancy the waiting area is! Keep it up Oakland Tire Pros, there is a reason you're the most popular shop in Oakland. read more

This place is the best. Goitom and his team really care and they will get you set whether you have a flat and need it fixed, suspension repair, TPMS, anything. You'll never be oversold a useless service or new tires if you don't need them. If you bring a part that he thinks won't work, he won't waste your time and take your money installing it. Best tire purchase experience of my life!!! At 9:30 on Saturday morning I called to see if I could get a quote on some times. I spoke to "G" who quoted me an out-the-door price I couldn't pass up. He said if you come in now you shouldn't have to wait for too long. I got there at 10:20 and rolled out on my new tires at 10:50!!! Yeah, 30 minutes!!! I got an excellent price, a fantastic warranty and he even extended the alignment discount if I come back within 30 days!!! They also checked my brakes and told me they were fine instead of trying to sell me a brake job I didn't need. Very fast, very friendly, best prices ever!!! They won't try to scam you or up-sell you just because you're a woman. I will recommend this place to everyone I know!!! read more
