On my recent visit to Toy Mania and World Market, it looks like some of the tennents are switching out or in transition. There also looked to be a season Christmas store that was getting ready to open. Between the stores are outdoor spaces... something that Panera (and a patio) takes advantage of. The Harris Teeter and other shops at the other end of the shopping center round out the stores and why the parking lot is super busy all the time.

The shopping center is transforming into a more modern shopping center and it looks amazing. The Fresh Market is now it's own free standing location. The BB&T has been remodeled and they are adding a lot of new shops and restaurants. Currently there is a pharmacy, deli, a Thai restaurant, hair salon, nail salon, jeweler and a gift shop. The Thai restaurant is one of my favorites on the south side. I can't wait for the expansion and the addition of new restaurants. Southpark opened in 1970 and Specialty Shops Southpark dates from around 1979 but a lot of effort has gone into keeping it new and refreshing. Last fall when we made a day of shopping at Southpark (this was during Covid and mask mandates) Susan asked me to find a restaurant for lunch. Quick online search and I came up with Bricktop's. Didn't have reservations and a one hour wait so got on the wait list and one hour later were seated. Fantastic lunch with great menu and we've been back several times since then (review for Bricktop's is posted separately) Williams and Somona is also a favorite and have been several times over the years but when I do shop for something at Williams and Sonoma, it is generally at the Birkdale location in Huntersville since it is so much closer. I've been a fan of Sharon Luggage dating back to the 1970's at another location before they were her. A great place for travel accessories, wallets. personalized gifts etc. Two other places here are Renaissance Patisserie which is a small French Bakery with great cakes, cookies and other pasteries and Paco's Tacos and Tequila, one of the best Mexican Restaurants in the Charlotte area.

At first, the cashier #9 asked the cashier #11the item not show in the system then the #11 (lady name start with S, i forgot her name) told me that the pants did not belong to the store because the tag was not showing in the system. She then suggested that I may have done something to the tag, asked me to show her where did i get it. I showed her and she said it no supposed to be in this rack and told me that she might need to check the store's camera footage. I said go head an check it, i was here yesterday at 1 pm. And she kept telling me "look, this tag is old and we do not carried Men Zara in this store". I told her that I did not know about the old tag and i didnt do anything, i bought alot of Zara for my husband in this store, and she kept telling again, we not carried Men Zara. I was very uncomfortable and upset by the way this was communicated to me. I had purchased the pants at this store just one day earlier, and I felt like I was being accused of doing something wrong. After looking at the item again, she eventually confirmed that the pants did match the tag. I understand that employees need to verify returns, but I believe there was a much more respectful and professional way to handle the situation. She returned the item for me but she DID NOT say SORRY or anything. I WILL NEVER COME BACK!

I expected much more from a company positioned as a luxury retailer with premium pricing. Two…read morefailed deliveries of the same furniture due to quality control issues should never happen. I ordered two French Contemporary Closed Nightstands from RH. The first delivery arrived in a shipping box with a severely damaged corner that was torn open. Given the obvious condition of the packaging, common sense would have been to inspect the nightstands before they were loaded for delivery. Instead, they arrived with damage, including dented corners, lifted veneer with protective packing foam embedded in the wood, finish damage, and other cosmetic defects. RH replaced the nightstands and assured me the new pieces would be thoroughly inspected before shipment. The second delivery even arrived with orange inspection tape indicating the cartons had been inspected. Despite that, the replacement nightstands still arrived with many of the same issues, including dented corners, manufacturing and finish defects, inconsistent veneer, and cosmetic damage. After two unsuccessful deliveries, the nightstands are now out of stock, leaving me to wait another two to three months for replacements. This delay is entirely the result of repeated quality control failures and has been incredibly frustrating. To RH's credit, Customer Experience acknowledged that the inspection process was not handled properly and admitted that getting the items out quickly was prioritized over ensuring the nightstands had been adequately inspected. They also refunded my $299 handling fee, which I appreciate, although I believe that was the minimum appropriate accommodation given the circumstances. I expected much stronger quality control, better handling procedures, and more consistent execution. Before this experience, I was seriously considering purchasing additional RH furniture for my living room, dining room, and bedrooms. After two failed deliveries, however, I'm no longer confident making that level of investment until RH demonstrates more consistent quality control and delivery standards. I remain hopeful that the replacement nightstands will arrive in the condition they should have from the beginning, but after this experience, my confidence has understandably been shaken.

I walked up to the hostess asking that exact question and she goes "no service there only indoors, no service outside so will you be joining us" is a very sassy remark. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but it was just downhill from there. I sat in the middle of the restaurant waiting to be introduced by a server for over 40 mins. When a server walked over he kindly stated can I help you? Lol yes, I've been sitting here for over 40 mins. I ordered breakfast and there was a hair in my food. I ordered another meal to go and somehow got a steak sandwich but I ordered steak frites. Overall, not a great experience at all especially when there really isn't anything on the menu under $20. Beautiful restaurant however subpar service and subpar food.
