Avoid Dr. Mark Waksmundzki at all costs.
This doctor has been one of the most unprofessional and patronising medical professionals I've ever encountered. From the outset, he has spoken to me in a condescending, dismissive tone--as though I were an inconvenience rather than a patient seeking help.
He repeatedly misinformed me about what medications can be prescribed on a repeat basis, insisting that I book unnecessary follow-up appointments just to continue accessing what I now know, through multiple second opinions, can legally and ethically be prescribed without constant visits. Other doctors have actually warned me about his tactics, confirming that his approach is far from standard practice.
Despite clear input from several physiotherapists pointing to a likely ligament tear in my shoulder, he flat-out refused to refer me for an ultrasound. Instead, he told me to "just stretch" and--surprise--book yet another appointment before he'd consider doing anything further. This is not healthcare; it's gatekeeping and stalling at the expense of a patient's wellbeing.
Dr. Waksmundzki seems more invested in controlling the process than helping the patient. His behaviour feels manipulative, and there's an unsettling undertone to the way he dismisses valid concerns and deflects responsibility. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone--especially those looking for honest, compassionate care. read more
