She asked me what kind of soda (she still hasn't said that I can use the restroom). I told her I could get the soda. She wanted to know why I didn't want help, I told her I need to learn to do things for myself. She the asked me if I wanted her to carry me. At that point I said have a good day. As I was leaving she said she was only kidding. It didn't sound like kidding. It sounded rude, disrespectful and condescending. I hope this woman never experiences the level of disrespect that she showed me. If a Manager, District or Regional Manager sees this, please let this woman know that if her goal was to make a disabled vet feel like garbage, she overwhelmingly succeede.
