I put $60 cash on the pump, but when it clicked off at $40, I inquired why and he claimed I only gave him $40. I know I gave him $60 because I just took the money out of the bank moments before, and was somehow missing a 20. Anyway, he said he would need to recount the drawer in the morning and that he would call me. In short he never called me, but when I stopped by he said he was $10 over, and offered the $10. I really appreciate the money back, and I don't think he had any ill-intent, but I never found the $20. So I don't bother going there anymore. read more

There was no one behind the counter. From behind I her someone snap "What do you want". I turn around and see a woman staring at me. No logo shirt, no name tag. I had no idea she was an employe. I told her I would be making a purchase, but asked if I could use the restroom. She wanted to know what I was buying. I told her gas & a soda. She asked me what kind of soda (she still hasn't said that I can use the restroom). I told her I could get the soda. She wanted to know why I didn't want help, I told her I need to learn to do things for myself. She the asked me if I wanted her to carry me. At that point I said have a good day. As I was leaving she said she was only kidding. It didn't sound like kidding. It sounded rude, disrespectful and condescending. I hope this woman never experiences the level of disrespect that she showed me. If a Manager, District or Regional Manager sees this, please let this woman know that if her goal was to make a disabled vet feel like garbage, she overwhelmingly succeede. I don't know her name but this happened in 12/21 between 11:30am & 12:00pm

This particular review is about a Stop & Shop Gas Station. You pull up, pump your gas and GTFO. Why the need for a review? The Dutch have given America great things. Van Halen. Heineken Lager Beer. Shell Oil. And more importantly, Stop & Shop Supermarkets. When you shop at any Stop & Shop, you gain rewards points. You can use those points at any Shell gas station which lowers your price per gallon. Sounds like a plan right? Except the Shell gas station in East Setauket is so expensive! Every weekend, folks are filling up their boats and lawn mowers. When you use Stop and Shop points, it lowers the price per gallon (up to twenty gallons) so in your face Royal Dutch Shell! I noticed the Stop & Shop Gas Station off the exit 63 L.I.E. stop. I wonder if I can use my supermarket points? The answer is, Y.E.S.! So lemme crank some VH (Everybody Wants Some), drink a Heineken and thank this Stop & Shop Gas Station for their competitive gas pricing as well as accepting my Stop & Shop Gas points. Rock on.

I got a yearly service plan with these guys and it started off great. They came out and filled my…read moretank monthly and I figured everything would be cool. I was wrong. WAY wrong. I work from home and am usually here at all times, so I lock my gates to my yard. One day in January when I was not home, they came out to fill my tank and could not because the gate was locked. They had called me one time to reschedule and I told them we could skip that month. Well, now its April and I am out of oil. I called to see why they hadn't come and they told me they cancelled my contract in January! I asked why and they said they could not get in and could not get ahold of me so they cancelled it! Of course, they kept my entire years worth of the contract charge and will not give a refund, nor did they contact me by phone, mail or email to let me know. I made sure they had the correct number for me, and because my number is a cell-phone, I was able to track all the incoming calls and I did not see 1 additional call from them other than the one they made in Jan. I told the VERY rude manager this and that they had no right to cancel my contract. At this time, he proceeded to call me a liar and tell me that I must have gotten my tank filled up by somebody else. I was irate. I tried to calm down and just get the problem fixed and fuel added but he told me I would be liable for any service charges related to the fuel being out. I told him to just come out and fix it, and that we would deal with the charges later, then he told me that we have no business together and I should find another company. then he hung up on me. I am going to take them to small claims court (it's much easier than you think) and I hope this review discourages others from doing business with this shady company.

Count on Fuel has been amazing since we moved out here. We ran out of oil because we cannot see the…read moregauge in the sealed enclosure, and Count on Fuel had their truck at my door in about 20 minutes after calling them! The customer service has been great, and their prices are very competitive as they have the lowest rate per gallon that I have seen. I don't understand the negative review left before, but that has not been our experience with this company at all!
