She is so warm and always happy. She felt like a trustworthy friend after just one visit! My dentist was Dr. Bucker and the experience was always very pleasant. Thankfully, I didn't need any actual work done so our time together was limited, but, if I did I would have 100% confidence in Dr. Bucker. I recently moved out of the area and just had a terrible experience with one of those "chain" dental groups. I felt homesick for this dental group immediately. Since then, we've been trying to CONTACT the specialist to make this arrangement but have not been able to due to holiday closings and his severely limited hours of operation. Now, it looks like it'll be MONTHS more before she can finally get her tooth. Communication was poor, and I often felt like I was being upsold instead of genuinely cared for. Oddly, I look forward to appointments here because of all the pampering. The little details are what set this practice apart from the others. For example, during a procedure, I was given an eye shield so that particulate matter doesn't get in my eye; I was given headphones to listen to music of my choosing; I was given a hand mirror which I could use anytime I wanted to take a look to see exactly what was being done; the list goes on. Dr. Birdsall refused to do the extraction despite extreme pain due to an extraction with 2 roots being too complex, in his words. Left the office in excruciating pain in tears and given a prescription for round 2 of antibiotics. Their next move was to mail a dismissal letter. Pretty humorous for a PPO patient with perfect teeth otherwise paying cash for urgent service. My regular dentist was "flabbergasted" at Dr. Birdsall's refusal to take action, I can only imagine how he would react to the unprofessional conduct for a patient left in pain after the fact.

I was told I needed a root canal, then went in to get it done and was told by the dentist "I will…read moreactually be able to fill it instead". I thought great its not as bad as he thought! well filling went in and then got infected and had an abscess. I then had to go through an extensive process of having the filling pulled out and a root canal done. I had to be on antibiotic for a while, and unfortunately have yet to be comfortable. I have daily pain in my mouth and am in debt due to all the excess bills because this one "dentist" felt he was better than he actually was and still got all of his money while I am in constant pain.
