Just happened to see an ad for Wyndham Residence, which is licensed to provide independent living…read moreand assisted living services. Wyndham is not licensed to provide skilled nursing care. I know from personal experience that Wyndham's Administration admitted a resident to assisted living whose needs bordered on needing skilled nursing services at the time of admission, and whose needs changed to needing skilled nursing within a week of being admitted. Administration promised the family that Wyndham's staff could take care of all their family member's needs no matter how sick she got. All Hell broke loose and she died soon after admission. Wyndham's front desk was not staffed all the time during the COVID pandemic, so people were free to come in and visit residents without being screened for COVID and signed in to the permanent record. Shame on you, Compass Health. You need to review what Wyndham is licensed to provide, and then check to see what is actually happening at Wyndham.

I know for a fact at Arroyo Grande Care Center. Also at the Wyndham Assisted Living the workers have heavy work loads. With the revolution omg door of employee's they pile the work into whoever shows up for work. Not a good environment for your loved one to be living with.

My mother was at French Hospital (4 days), followed by a stay at the Mission View skilled nursing facility (3 weeks). We asked Alan to come to the home to evaluate the environment, make suggestions about improvements, and give us expert information about what other services may be available to us and services which might benefit us. Based on Alan's understanding of the local offerings, he was able to point us in the right direction and offer his personal follow-up. His experience and expertise were EXACTLY what we needed to bring our mother home and continue her care as well as improve the living conditions for our brother. We were so impressed with Alan's expertise and compassion - my sister wrote a recommendation to the social workers at French Hospital to be sure to include Alan's business as a resource for those in our situation. He fills a HUGE gap in the adventure of taking great care of elderly, or invalid relatives.
