They didn't charge us full price for the night took 2pounds off not sure why think it was a offer they just did because the couple that left after us had same thing. It is in a good location, not to far from telford centre only a bus ride and there is a bus stop just outside the house. They have 5 rooms and a shared bathroom they also have a dining room and lounge room. Really nice people and place to stay would have loved to stay longer. All the furnishing are traditional and make it a nice place to visit really clean saw three cleaners in one morning

Lovely Breakfast. cosy Breakfast room allowing all the guests to chat... How nice.. Usually people ignore me. Fantastic Free Wi-Fi. Toiletories. Towels. The rooms were equipped with trouser press. Hair Dryer. Tea / Coffee. Nice Cookies... Fantastic ... I have a pet hate for non en-suite hotel rooms. The room in the Central Guest house I was in was not En-suite, I had to go across the hallway to a shower room, which at first made me squirm. It was exclusive to me. Which was a relief. The point I want to make is. Don't be put off by a non en-suite room. Its not as bad as it seems. It was a pain to run across the hallway in the middle of the night, desperate for No1 & No2. Just made it.. Reminded me of a movie I watched with Jodi Foster. Having to lock one room to run across the hallway to open the other. (Yes I had to lock my room and unlock the loo every time). (In the end I just left the loo door open.) It was exciting and scary..... I was worried in case I bumped into anyone lurking in the shadows. Sadly no lurkers ! ( What a shame. I was kind of looking forward to some midnight Mania). On the whole. I enjoyed my stay and would do it again. Recommend this Guest House. The owners are a great source of conversation, Very friendly. Chestnut Grange is what it says on the can, a B&B, except this is a Silver Casket. My wife and I…read morestayed here for a single night on 21/10/17 to attend a nearby wedding. The hospitality by Sue was 1st class, she was warm,friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was a delight with every attention to comfort and detail imaginable. The breakfast was a culinary delight and we were only sorry that we couldn't find an excuse to stay longer. We were even conveyed back to the wedding venue to collect our vehicle. I would recommend these premises to anyone. The finest independent B&B we have ever stayed in.
