I have been to Price Nursery on numerous occasions for the fact that they have a pretty good…read moreselection of trees and plants. I was looking for specific, "out of the ordinary", type trees and decided to stop here....They have a good variety of trees that have been "groomed" to meet any persons "artful" eye......I decided on a tree, that I call my "poodle tree".....It has been trimmed so that it looks like little puffy balls on the end of every branch.....Such a beautiful piece of yard art....... They have the typical plants/trees you will see at Lowes, Home Depot, etc., but they seem to be of better quality..... If you are like me and want a tree or plant that is not your typical, you should give this Nursery a look, as you will be surprised by the beautiful plants that they have. I do want to add that the pricing is a little more than what you will pay compared to the above stated, but remember that you also get better quality. The average tree that is trimmed and sculpted will cost approx. $150-$200

Three days later, I called & was told "we have this posted about no returns/exchanges". I did not see it nor was told nor received a receipt for the over the phone purchase. I should never have accepted the plant, but was in a hurry that day. I can't believe they would not do an exchange 3 days later when it was still in the pot. I will never order again from them. No wonder their business seems little off from years ago.

I've stopped by this Sedgefield a few times in the summers to refill propane tanks for my grill…read more This time though, was in the winter. With serious winter weather in the forecast, we had serious concerns about losing power, so decided though we don't typically use the grill in the winter, we better have the tanks ready so we can cook if need be. I went over the morning before the storm, but was told I was too late, and their tank was already empty. But they said they had a truck coming around lunch, and took my name and number to call when it arrived. Sure enough, a few hours later, I got a call, and headed back. By the time I arrived there was a short line of people waiting, but they worked quickly, and kept the line moving. Pricing was very fair, in fact, much better than swapping tanks, as I've found the few times I saw them, they are not really full. When Sedgefield fills the tank, they fill it to 100%. They account for what is already in the tank, when they fill no games, no scams...you pay for what you get, and their pricing is $4 a gallon. Would certainly recommend to anyone, and will certainly give them future business. Not just for propane, but also for mulch or gravel when we do some landscaping work in the spring. Always good to have an honest business to do business with.

I never left with unanswered questions. The staff has always been great, friendly and helpful. In November of 2024 I needed a new liner for my pond. Pond Country sent someone to access my pond and give me an estimate on the rebuild. I was tired of repairing my mistakes so I wanting a fully reconstructed pond. I cannot express how satisfied I am with the reconfiguration, the design and the size of the pond they built for me. It isn't just a pond, there are multiple waterfalls, streams and fountain features incorporated into the streams. I tell people I do not have to go on vacation, it is in my backyard in the safety of my own property. It is absolutely gorgeous, every aspect of the design and the final result of my pond is astounding. If you want it done right, hire a company that has been doing this for almost 30 years. Their dedication and precision to detail goes above and beyond what I expected, but I certainly appreciate all the hard work that went into my backyard oasis.

Again they built a beautiful pond but do not count on them to service your pond after it is installed. I spent 75,000 dollars with them and feel like I was lied to. They specifically sold me on their maintenance packages. My pond is now full of algae and I am having a hard time finding someone to service it.

This is a pretty good go-to store for home remodelers. I've had issues with their lumber quality,…read moreso I have to pick through a bit. Their employees are fantastically helpful. "Brett" walked me all over the store to find an item that unfortunately was out of stock. His associate even climbed up on their rolling mega ladder to find it; though the item showed up on their inventory (which they accessed easily and quickly), it was not on the shelf or up in storage. I used to run a retail store decades ago, and they called it shrinkage at that time. My grandmother would have called it shoplifting. Nevertheless, the employees were very helpful and kind. Good on!

You used to be able to stop into any Home Depot and find someone in any department that was knowledgeable and willing offer help or suggestions. Now when you go, good luck finding anyone, let alone anyone that will be able to help you. I typically find myself leaving this store very frustrated, and instead relying onto YouTube to find the info I need for what I'm working on. That being said, the store still does carry most anything and every thing you'd need for home projects, so if you know what you need, what you're doing and how to do it, this is a great place to pick up your supplies, just don't go in hoping ti get help

I came here for some extensive landscaping work on my yard and met with one of the owners who…read moredeveloped a preliminary project plan. After reviewing the plan, I tried communicating via email, but got no response even though he had requested this method himself. Finally, I called and got one of his co-workers who was a well-known local garden columnist. In discussing the project plan, it quickly became apparent that the owner had mislead me about doing the work in late Spring rather than Fall, especially the lawn renovation. I never heard from him again. Months later, the other owner/ brother was doing some work for my neighbor when he accosted me as I was leaving and started threatening that I LEGALLY had to have some additional work done on my yard for drainage and runoff. Despite telling him that I was working with his brother on a separate project plan, this man of moderate stature with a severe Napoleon's complex said that he could care less what his brother was doing. Upon leaving, I called my neighbor and relayed my experience. He could not believe it as he said he had just been out there and specifically told the brother/owner what he wanted and what he absolutely did not want, including making any modifications to my adjoining yard which they seemed to be doing regardless. My neighbor's work was eventually completed at great cost, and a few years later, much of the work has quickly fallen into varying degrees of disrepair.
