They answered all of my questions and were very helpful and flexible to meet our needs. Mrs. Stracner was super helpful and knew that I, being the mother of the bride, was stressed just because I wanted everything to be perfect. She calmed me and promised to do whatever I needed to help with my daughter's wedding. We had a great day and everything was beautiful. I highly recommend Twelve Oaks Farm Events. The wines are muscadine based made from the vines growing next to the building. They offer a range of reds, whites, and fruit forward wines. Most are sweet with a couple of dry wines. Our server was friendly but admitted she needed to learn more about winemaking to answer our questions. We were a bit surprised to learn during our sampling that it was $15 for the 4 one-ounce pours. We probably would not have gotten two if we knew the price. We could not locate the price listed anywhere. We did purchase a couple bottles of wine but may have purchased more if the samples were not so pricy.

The genie is primarily used for weddings and it is gorgeous. Built on a sprawling 15 acre pecan orchard, there are stables, cottages and the main "pond house" where the reception was held. You have to do some driving on the backroads of rural southern Georgia to get there, but it is well worth it. Can't wait to check this place out during the daytime.

Wow! Everything about this business is amazing. We wanted to try this place for the food. I…read morestumbled on a picture of the cuisine one day by accident. Had never even heard of the place. All the staff here are so nice and amazing. They greeted us from the moment we walked in. I had spoken to the owner on Facebook when I was making the reservation and told her that we had a 5 week old baby and thought I might be bringing him. We needed up having Mom babysit so we could have a date. At least two employees asked about my son and why we didn't bring him. We felt almost like we were family right from the start. I can't wait to come back when they do another meal in a couple weeks! So to start, the only serve meals about twice a month. When they do, there is a dinner from 6-8 on Friday, a brunch from 11-2 and a dinner from 6-8 on Friday and that's it. You need to make a reservation the week prior or the week of. While marking your reservation you will place your order for the entree and whether or not you want desert, which I definitely recommend. When you show up for your meal, there will be a table reserved for you with your name on it, no turned tables here. You can walk around their little boutique until you are ready to sit down. We explored a little first. The architecture on the walls and ceiling are beautiful and will have you looking at them throughout your experience here. The first course will be a fresh baked croissant with homemade cherry butter. Next course is a succulent deep sea scallop on top of Napa cabbage covered in a bourbon glaze. The third course is a salad made from spiral cut zucchini and squash with heirloom tomatoes, dried cranberries, walnuts, and smothered in a velvety, cream goat cheese dressing. Then for the main course, we chose the chicken cordon bleu crepes and the hamburger Wellington. Both were out of this world good. The hamburger, which I had was probably 8-10oz at least, covered in caramelized onions and I believe chanterelle mushrooms, all inside a decadent flaky pastry. Then finally, you finish with a homemade blueberry ice cream. My only regrets from this experience was not getting a picture of the inside of the dinning area, the first and fifth courses, and not giving the chef a hug for preparing the best meal I have had in this area!

I came here for their "Holiday High Tea". I have been to High Tea several times in various parts of…read morethe world and unfortunately A&B etc was a huge disappointment and way over priced. Typically at High Tea you choose your tea from a menu of various loose teas, a waiter then prepares and leaves a pot on your table, and you are given a large assortment of pastries and sandwiches that could double for lunch. What I got at A&B etc for $30 was a young lady (14 years old?) acting as waitress handing me a 10 cent Bigelow tea bag, and a small amount of food. I got about a half a sandwich, two meringues, two macarons, and a scone the size of an oreo cookie. I have never seen such a small scone before, they are typically the size of bagels. Had I paid $10, I would have thought "oh well, whatever", but paying $30 seemed like a rip off. Should the owners see this review, I hope they will take this as constructive feedback and make changes. I would love to attend a quality High Tea locally, and hope that the business continues to grow and improve.
