There's also some nutritional advice. Fit Machine serves clients of RCEB clients and the public through personal training. Fit Machine gym appears full of the latest and most up to date equipment. I have been coming to Boxstarz for a little over two months now and love the energy and workouts…read morehere. Here are the reasons why I enjoy this gym: The coaches are very experienced, encouraging and personable. They will personally correct your moves so you can improve your techniques. For me, that is what separates them from some other boxing chains around here. Additionally, the coaches switch up the curriculum so you don't get bored! They also do pad works with you in addition to pad work with other gym goers. This is so much better than just punching bags because it is way more dynamic and realistic. I really like the variety of classes here. They don't have too many time slots yet but I like there are Muay Thai classes, pad and bag combination workshops, boxing bootcamps and also Jr Muay Thai classes that my son loves. Did I mention Kids classes are the cutest!? All the coaches offer personal training too so if the timing does not work, you have the option of booking your private time. I highly recommend coach AJ, Joni and Monica! Last but not the least, I like the smaller-size class format so we can all get a good amount of attention from coaches. I forgot to mention, the music during class here is the best. It really keeps you going while sweating like crazy. If you want to get in shape or learn muay Thai, make sure you check out Boxstarz!

I've been training with Tri-Active Endurance for about a year, and the experience has been…read moreoutstanding. As someone with a demanding schedule and ambitious endurance goals, I've found Rob's approach to be exactly what I need. He designs smart, highly individualized training programs that fit real life, without compromising performance. The strength and stability work we focused on this year played a huge role in one of my biggest athletic accomplishments to date: swimming 12 miles across Lake Tahoe this past July in just over 5 1/2 hours. The final stretch was brutally hard, and I'm confident that the work I did at Tri-Active was a major reason I was able to finish strong. What really sets Rob apart is his no-nonsense, practical coaching style. He understands that life, work, and family don't stop just because you're an endurance athlete, and he meets you where you are while still pushing you to be better. That same thoughtful approach showed up again recently when he helped my daughter fine-tune some key form issues as she looks toward continuing her sport at the collegiate level. If you're serious about your goals and want a coach who combines expertise, realism, and respect for the whole person, I can't recommend Tri-Active Endurance highly enough.

With that said, I have been strictly self-taught and had never met with a running coach. A friend asked if I was interested in attending their run clinic with her. While completely outside my comfort zone, I found myself here on a Saturday morning with my friend, 30+ other runners, and the owner and coaches. The four hour clinic started with a lecture and while most of the information wasn't necessarily new to me, it was nice to have some validation on what I already knew about running. I also got some practical information on how to improve. After the lecture part, we went outside for a dynamic warm up and were then divided into three groups and spent 25-30 minutes with each coach. My group started with strength training with Jeannine and I enjoyed learning some new warm up/strength moves that will directly benefit my running. Next up was indoor running with Rob, the owner. While the AirRunner machine takes a while to get used to, they are really cool. They are slightly curved and non-motorized and force (encourage?) you into a good neutral running position. The third stop was an outdoor run with David. Located right by the Iron Horse Trail, we took what we'd learned on the road and did 2 miles roundtrip. David gave great feedback, suggestions, and encouragement along the way. Tri-Active Endurance is an excellent, supportive space if you want to push yourself as a runner and/or as a new or seasoned triathlete. While I have no interest in biking or swimming, the run clinic has already positively impacted my running. I think it was completely worth the four hours and $25. I am now considering a few additional sessions/run classes, as I found the coaches so approachable, skilled, and motivating.

** REVIEW FOR PT DR. NICOLE GARLIT **…read more WHY I CAME IN: From the outside I look "fine" but I've been dealing with upper back and neck pain for about 15 years; I had back surgery which resulted in muscle spasms, been in two car accidents, commute to work about 5 hours in a car round-trip, and this all resulted to a lot of painful tightness in my upper back up to my neck. 2024 I made it my resolution to fix my back issues so I can continue my active lifestyle of biking, hiking, weight-lifting, backpacking, etc. My fittness goals this year are to fix my twisting squat, do a pull up, and get back my range of motion + posture. I am SO HAPPY to have Dr. Nicole Garlit in my corner! I booked using her website (www.NicoleGarlitPT.com) and that is where my exciting journey begins! DR. NICOLE GARLIT: Dr.Nicole Garlit is so well rounded - she's extremely thoughtful, thorough, and is focused on your goal. I have never been more carefully examined which also showed me how determine she was to finding the right next steps and treatment for me. I was worried about my range-of-motion so she even measured my movements and rechecked it at the end of our session. She gave me the BEST neck crack which felt so free-ing, even days later. I have been to many other Dr.s, Chrio's, Cupping/Reiki people lol, to find any kind of relief for my back but the exercises that Dr.Nicole Garlit assigned to me has truly made such a HUGE difference in my day-to-day. After the first night I did my exercises, I felt a big difference in my back the following day during my 5 hour commute to work + throughout my work day. She is a great listener, very passionate and intentional about her questions and treatment. If you go to her, you will feel cared for and leave not only with relief but also with the tools and new knowledge to continue your journey. She also has a new PT Instagram! @DrNicoleGarlit (attaching some awesome screenshots from there!) THE OFFICE: The space is so clean, modern, spacious and looks like a really nice personal gym. Towards the back leads to an open office area where your session/examination/treatment will take place. PARKING: The studio/office is right next door to a Core Power Studio. Parking was super easy as right across is a big parking lot (it's the parking lot behind Mijori Sushi) OVERALL: - I am sooo impressed with Dr. Nicole Garlit - You will receive a VERY well rounded experience consisting of a careful examination, treatment, and really helpful "homework" (aka exercises to keep doing at home) - I continue to feel more relief even days after my appointment - The studio space is so nice, clean, open, and modern! I was definitely eye-ing the In Body Machine haha - Lastly, I can't wait for my next visit with Dr. Nicole Garlit :-)
