Popped into the store today as I wanted to switch my network to O2 and was interested in a couple of different phones. We were greeted by a very bubbly girl (didn't catch her name sadly) who was very welcoming and got us queued up to speak to a sales colleague, we had a bit of a chat about phones and their rival companies just to have a laugh. My partner and I were then joined by Kieran, who was very knowledgeable about one of the devices I was interested in and was able to recommend it over the other due to my requirements. He walked me through the contract thoroughly and explained how their plans work as it was a little different to what I was used to. We then decided to actually take out 2 contracts as the prices were very competitive and we were happy with the service so far. We ended up going for a Samsung S21 ultra and a Plus model. Being a little pressed for time as I was running out of parking, Kieran did his absolute best to cover everything necessary as quickly as possible and didn't push any extra sales that he knew I wouldn't want (very customer-first attitude! Kudos!) This was then made an even better experience by Conor who swooped in to get our phone content transferred whilst we finished up the contracts with Kieran so that I could get back to the car in time. All in all, FANTASTIC service by everyone I spoke to, SERIOUSLY competitive prices and two VERY happy customers! I came into the Taunton store today to get help with my Doro Phone easy 632. It had been backing up text messages and kept saying phone storage was full so I was unable to receive any of my text messages. The young man I saw was very helpful and got the problem sorted out in no time. He also set up my new contract as my old one had just expired! I did explain I wasn't very good with phones even the simple ones! I am very happy with the service I received. This O2 store is next to the Vodafone store. It is quite large with a various selection of pay as you go phones and lots of good phones on contract. The staff are very helpful and gave lots of advice on which phone I should buy which I found very useful in my quest to find the phone I wanted. Although in the end I purchased my phone in Phones 4 u as it was cheaper on pay as you go although it depends on which phone you want. They has the iPhone which is on a good pay as you go deal. They had good accessories for phones inside such as phones cases and bluetooth headsets. read more
