Sadly, the laptop malfunctioned within a few weeks. Among a number of problems, it did not recognise any external device. Obviously, I was unable to perform a backup of my documents or any other files. In addition, the keyboard did not functioned correctly. When I took the laptop to Alza, with an explanation of the problems (and with an external HD), I was assured that the problems would be fixed. My laptop was returned (after three and a half weeks) with the faulty keyboard, and all the documents deleted. Even the Office Suit, for which I paid, was gone. All my attempts to have the problems corrected were met with a basic reply: Bad luck, read the fine print. Sure, I met a few helpful individuals but they seem powerless to fight the unethical Alza bureaucracy. Beware Joseph H

I go to Alza almost everytime when I need some electronic device. They have a huge offer. Website…read moreis well-arranged. It´s usually very easy to find whatever you need. And than just buy it and pick it up or let them send it to you. I usually pick it up at Holešovice where is the HQ. Also they are usually the cheapest or among cheapest and also I know that I wont get any imitation of the product I want. You know, it happens sometimes with some e-shops. HQ in Holešovice is pretty huge and they have a lot of counters so it doesn´t take a lot of time to get whatever you bought. They actually have a very good system of delivery. First you go to automat where you confirm your purchase and than you already go to pick up your stuff. You can check their offer on the way to counters or play some game (there are free xboxes and other gaming consoles with games) or just have a coffee in local cafe. I never wait more than a 5-10 minutes. The only exception is Christmas but that´s understandable. I don´t have any experiences with complaints and how they solve it. So far everything worked just fine so I can´t review that part of their business but what I heard it´s usually ok.
