The selection is still good, but has gotten worse with fewer mixers that I bought on the regular and some of the labels I use have been replaced. Service is there. They don't seem to care much of you are, but they are at the counter. Most importantly, though, pricing of items is nearly non-existent! Very few have tags and the front of shelf labels are gone. Very disappointed.

I was shocked! And happy to taste it before I bought it. I thought that was very nice. Good customer service. Excellent place! I was excited to find their wine that I use in punch was available at this location. I don't have to go over the river and through the woods to Oliver Winery to get this, I can just go about a mile from my home. This is marvelous. Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus. No, B Rad, they don't sell mud. They do have a great selection of wines for where we're at. This isn't total wine, this isn't a big box store. Some dude and his family run this place and I've only ever seen the family running it (it is right by my gym) so previous problems that people have had with employees have cleared up because now it is straight up mom and pop. I can get behind a mom and pop all day and the part of the night I'm not sprawled on Karen's basement floor wondering why Anderson Cooper doesn't call me back. Why does this place get four stars instead of three? They had a huge selection (compared to the size of the store) of local wines and beer. I think that's wonderful. I haven't fallen in love with any of the local beers or near local beers BUT I know my friends have and now I know where to get some before going to their homes. I also know that supporting local businesses is good for everyone. If you want Bud Light you need to reexamine your life choices and also: go to Walmart. If it is Garbage de Blanc you're looking for they have it AND in the vintage you prefer. If you're a grown up and looking to drown your sorrows in quality then this is your jam. I would recommend this to any of my friends but they're all average to above average to amazing people and none of them live in BC. They live in the Highlands where men with handlebar mustaches come right to your door on those old-timey bicycles with the outsized front wheel with the booze you ordered by carrier pigeon and only accept tips no one has ever heard of. Also, they have a drive through to make your DUI that much easier, Bullitt County. WOO WHO!

It's always an odd thing to go back to your old neighborhood and see how much things have changed. And, for the purposes of this review, please keep in mind that in my old part of town, neighborhood = subdivision so I'm playing fast & loose with the terminologies. 's fun, right? In any case, imagine all the pearls that were clutched to discover an open & notorious liquor store on Barbour Ln. Just imagine all Kammerer kids who would be lazing about, hoping for a broke 21 year old to make their night (obviously, the Ballard kids are far past the point of needing to troll haunts such as this #themoreyouknow)? I walked in and... interesting. It looks very much like a convenience store that was transformed into a liquor store (I'm almost certain of it). Organization wasn't much to be found but it was easy enough to find beer and wine -- even if I wasn't wowed by the selection (in fairness, I wasn't too put off by it either). $7.49 for a six-pack of a decent red ale. $8.99 and up for various bottles of vino. The owner seemed like a pretty nice fellow. He didn't bat an eye at my friend and me roaming the aisles as though if on a walkabout. Forgetting (and forgiving) the odd location and layout, BCW & S (I dig the name) could become a standout.

You can get a beer and sip it while you shop. There are even some shopping carts with a holder for your glass. My only complaint is that sometimes the prices are not the best. When they have a sale, however, the prices are awesome. A few times a year they have a huge wine sale and I happened to catch one last week. I purchased a couple of nice bottles of red wine that would normally be $40-50 for less than $20 each.
