The office is spotless, very clean, very professional atmosphere, Pam the receptionist is excellent, she handled all my inquiries and resolved some issues with billing that previous locations took forever to accomplish, hats off right there. After meeting Dr. Simon, I felt positive vibrations, I have a good sense of character, he is a good man who actually cares about your health. He is truly a master in the art of chiropractic care. I dont give compliments if they arent deserved but after a few treatments, I do feel better than I have been. I appreciate his approach compared to previous chiropractos who basically try to reinvent the wheel when the wheel rolls just fine. I highly recommend Dr. Simon and I will continue to receive treatments with him. I also like the convenience of the parking and the location as its very convenient to me.

Since starting to go to The Back Shack, Dr. Causey has helped me in immense ways. I have only been…read moregoing to him for 7 months and have seen huge improvements in my overall back health. What is even more impressive is the healing power of the red light therapy. I had been struggling with peri oral dermatitis for over a year, putting medication on almost daily, but after 2 weeks of applying red light to it- it has gone away! That is not the only thing the red light therapy has helped me with. I had surgery on my heel over 2 years ago and there was a large bump even after surgery that was growing from scar tissue and caused me pain. Now that I have started red light therapy the scar tissue has started to break up and the pain has subsided. The red light therapy did MORE for me than full on surgery. I wish I had found Dr. Causey before I made the decision to have surgery or spent $ on prescription cremes for the peri oral dermatitis. Not only have I seen the benefits, Dr. Causey truly is there to make people feel better. He never makes his patients feel rushed, he gives each of them his full attention and remembers details about your life and is in a great mood. I love this little family ran business and would recommend it to anyone

First of all, an X ray of the entire spine has to be taken for proper corrective care. Secondly, the doctor should never scare the patient, but calm and encourage with positive words of healing. I was intimidated when I was already in the sympathetic dominant state (stressed). Lots of people go to the facility because the adjustments are relatively cheap. Plus, the doctor goes easy and gentle on the spine. So he stays in business

I've been a patient of Dr. Alan and Dr. Elaine Levy at Sea One Family Chiropractic for somewhere…read morearound 18 or 19 years now, which probably says more about my opinion of them than anything else I could write. Over all those years, I've been adjusted by both Dr. Alan and Dr. Elaine, and they are both wonderful chiropractors. They listen, they pay attention to what is actually going on with you, and they explain what they're doing and what they recommend. I trust them both completely. After nearly two decades, Sea One has honestly become a little like family to me. It's one of my happy places. That feeling extends to the people at the front desk as well. Through the years, the staff has consistently been friendly, attentive, helpful, and genuinely pleasant to deal with. Communication has always been excellent. Something else I've always appreciated is their approach to care. They are straightforward about what they see and what they recommend, but I have never felt pressured, cornered, or subjected to an upsell. They give you information and recommendations and allow you to make your own decisions. After 18 or 19 years as a patient, that means a lot to me. They've also continued to grow beyond traditional chiropractic care. In addition to adjustments, they offer physiotherapy, low-level cold laser therapy, on-site X-rays, sports and prenatal chiropractic care, and other services. They've recently added some particularly interesting technology with the Erchonia Zerona VZ8 violet cold laser for non-surgical body contouring. They also periodically hold workshops and educational events, which I've always thought was a nice extension of what they do. Several of my friends have become patients here over the years as well, and I've never hesitated to recommend Sea One to someone I care about. There are plenty of places you can go for an adjustment. Finding an office where you continue to feel comfortable, respected, listened to, and genuinely welcomed for nearly two decades is something different. Dr. Alan, Dr. Elaine, and the entire Sea One team have earned my trust over many years, and they continue to have it. Highly recommended.

I walked in shaped like a question mark and walked out shaped like a reasonably confident exclamation point. Johnny doesn't just crack backs. He negotiates with them. He listens to your spine like it's telling him gossip. "Ahhh yes," he says calmly, "L4 has been holding onto some emotional baggage." And before you can emotionally prepare yourself--POP. Suddenly your vertebrae sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies and your soul has been gently rearranged. The first adjustment? Terrifying. The second? Suspiciously satisfying. By the third visit, I was basically slithering onto the table like, "Fix me, wizard." At one point he twisted me in a way that made a noise I'm pretty sure was not FDA-approved. I gasped. He nodded. "That's the one." Sir. The one WHAT? My spine? My spirit? My childhood trauma? And let's talk about the post-adjustment feeling. You know that moment when you reboot your laptop and it suddenly runs faster? That's me now. I think taller thoughts. I breathe in HD. I'm 83% more aerodynamic. Johnny has the calm confidence of someone who knows exactly how far to rotate a human before they legally become a slinky. It's honestly impressive. 10/10 would let him crack my back and my existential dread again. If your spine feels like it's been storing grudges since 2007, go see Johnny at Atlantic Spine. He'll realign your vertebrae and possibly your life choices. Just don't be alarmed when you hear sounds from your body that resemble stepping on a bag of tortilla chips. That's just growth

Dr. John Evans is not only a knowledgable practitioner, but he is open to all types of alternative and traditional methods of treatment. He is also compassionate, caring and attentive. Dr. Evans will not give an adjustment when one is not needed. He will also recommend you to a specialist if he feels that the problem is beyond chiropractic treatment. You can fully trust the doctors in this practice to do the right thing. Heather has been treating me with medical massage for almost a year. She is not only very experienced, but she is kind, gentle and compassionate. She consults with the doctors on the patient's condition always before giving a massage and speaks to the patient about specific issues from visit to visit. I would never go to another massage therapist as Heather knows me very well now and knows how to treat me. Although, I have not been treated by Dr. Jeff Evans, I have had many conversations with him about my condition and would trust him to work on me in a heart beat. The office staff is always accomodating and flexible regarding appointments. I cannot emphasize enough how this is the right practice for every patient looking for a quality, honest, knowledgable set of practitioners all under one roof. It was…read moreaffecting my activities of daily living to the point where I was giving up several activities. Previous to this, about 5 years ago, had a similar problem after I had moved and pulled some muscles during my lifting and unpacking. At that time, I sought help from a chiropractor who used activator treatments which helped. Desiring to find a chiropractor who used activator treatments, my family physician suggested I contact Grand Strand Health and Wellness. When I did, I was pleasantly surprised by the thoroughness of my initial appointment. I had a thorough work up with a history, x-rays, and consult prior to any treatment. My explanation consultation was complete with the diagnosis of my problem and then plan for my treatment needs. The pro-adjuster would be used, similar to what I'd had previously, called an activator, along with other types of treatment. I have had several treatment sessions, all of which have helped me greatly. I know I have more treatments to complete my plan of action, but already my activities of daily living are not cumbersome and I have relief the majority of my day. I can accomplish things without being hindered with pain. What a change in my life! I especially like the sign in process whereby I enter my status at the time of my appointment. This info goes directly to the Dr. who retrieves it before even seeing you for your appointment so he doesn't waste time asking again what area(s) are causing difficulty. My expectations have been exceeded. My previous experience with a chiropractor were good with the use of the activator, but he did not give me a thorough treatment, he only used the activator. No X-rays were taken, just use of an activator. Grand Strand is most professional and thorough in their treatments. It is a very efficiently managed office with the staff being "on time" for my appointments, cleanliness of the facility and they treat me with a personal acknowledgement of me as a person. The staff uses my name to address me, are always pleasant, take their time doing my treatment, are competent, efficient and effective. The flow of the activity in this office is smooth and relaxing even though they are a busy practice. I enjoy coming for my treatments. One of the extra special things about Grand Strand Health & Wellness is their TRIVIA media that provides education during my "wait" times to be called for treatment. I always pick up a health tip at each appointment from this media. It is interesting to look at the ceiling TV messages too during my treatments when the ceiling is my main focal point. I have recommended this practice to two people already and know that I will be continuing to do so in the future because the relief I am feeling already has been well worth the cost. I'm getting my money's worth! During the course of my treatment, I was repeatedly impressed with Dr. Salami's sincere concern about my status of how I was progressing and if I had any new problems that he should address in my treatment. He always has good advice I also know that I will need to continue follow up with maintenance appointments so that I will not have a return of discomfort/pain.
