I stayed in BA for a month and every day after class, a bunch of us would go here to chill and have a cheap lunch. They're 12 pesos each, probably the cheapest in town. Empanadas, delivered!…read more Though common for folks who live in Buenos Aires, I found it very novel that you can have empanadas delivered to you anywhere in the city. When the box of piping hot pastries arrived at our hotel, I was so excited. We got a mix of 10 between us, 5 fried, 5 baked. I liked the fried and baked equally and my favorite fillings were choclo (corn) and carne criollo. I'd probably have more comments regarding the various fillings but for the fact that I accidentally dropped our remaining empanadas on the floor in the line for customs at the airport.
