Abandoned in Open Court - Beware of Brad Erdman…read more Review: If you are looking for an attorney to protect your family and your assets, look elsewhere. I retained Bradley Erdman at Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella, LLC (MKFM Law) for a child custody and financial enforcement case. On March 4, 2026, during an active custody status hearing, I asked him a few standard, clarifying questions about the court process and our strategy for enforcing a major financial judgment. Instead of answering me, Brad became completely dismissive and abruptly withdrew as my attorney right there in open court. He left me completely unrepresented in front of the judge during a critical moment in my custody case. A family law attorney is supposed to be your advocate during highly stressful times. Brad Erdman proved that if you ask questions or expect clear communication, he will cut and run, leaving you entirely exposed. I am now filing a formal grievance with the state disciplinary commission. Protect yourself and find counsel who actually honors their ethical obligations to their clients. #MKFMLaw #DuPageCounty #WheatonIL #FamilyLaw #DivorceAttorney #ChildCustody

I have not gone through a closing in 30 years, so the whole "DocuSign" process was new to me. The Nozari legal team was very organized, and more importantly, kept me on track through the whole process. I highly recommend their service.

First, Neda Nozari Esq. does NOT represent me in any current or past court case. However, I reached…read moreout to her regarding some condominium rights questions and discrimination/HUD questions. The HUD answers she gave (although she confirmed she doesn't do fair housing work in her private practice now) were so on point that I wanted to leave this review 45% for that. Second, talk about a small world. After finding out one particular result of a conversation we had about HUD was so very, very accurate, I glanced at her Instagram page and saw a familiar face. I thought I was imagining it at first. It turned out that she'd taken a photo with my Realtor who was responsible for me buying the condo I did. Talk about Chicago being so big and so small at the same time. Considering what I know of the months-long work with my Realtor, these two networking together makes absolute sense. Third, without me asking her to, she made an introduction to an incredibly kind and informative attorney (who I will rate later) who could help me with HOA/COA needs. If I hadn't talked to her, I'm fairly certain it may have taken me much longer to find this other attorney because (for whatever reason) he wasn't on my original search list. So I can't thank her enough.

I cannot give details, but their claims against me were outrageous. I had also just recently gotten engaged and wanted to be spending my spare time with my fiancé planning my wedding, not fending off a nuisance suit.  I called Peter Lubin and he picked up the phone even though it was after 9 PM on a Friday night. Peter and his partner, Andrew Murphy, handled my case expertly. They caught the plaintiffs in numerous mistakes and adroitly used those mistakes to my advantage. I'm an intelligent person, I love to argue, and I've often been told that I missed my true calling as an attorney, but I can't even begin to say how glad I was that I called DLA and didn't try to handle my case myself. I (like the plaintiffs) would have made so many mistakes had I gone pro se.  Peter and Andrew got the case against me dismissed with prejudice just 2.5 months after I was served, leaving me free to plan my wedding in peace. That's what you call "results."

No, just no. Peter seems to have been a brilliant attorney in his day. I do not recommend him now,…read morehowever. I am in a mediation. I've spent the last month or so reviewing mediation letters that range from 17 to 45 pages or so long. They are not the same document, tweaked. It seems as if each new version is completely different and does not contain any of the careful edits we agreed upon. Last week, I found out why: He is apparently using AI to vomit this stuff out. So I've wasted probably 50 hours of my time editing stuff that gets replaced by the next AI convulsion. Today, he sent me a version containing three video links and he essentially stated that all three showed a document being signed. But that is factually incorrect. One of the three videos has nothing to do with any document. Rather, it discusses a home. I asked him to correct the error. His response: He basically put his fingers in his ears and hummed, and threatened to quit. That was about his fourth such threat in a week or so. Nobody should ever put up with conduct like this. I should also probably mention that my lawsuit was dismissed for want of prosecution and counterclaim was defaulted against me because of missed court appearances or similar by one of his partners. He was probably a great attorney. That is in the past, as far as I can tell.

I contacted Atlas Consumer Law seeking representation for remaining Fair Credit Reporting Act…read moreclaims after successfully resolving my TransUnion claim through separate litigation. From the outset, I explained that I had already exhausted the dispute process with the credit bureaus and was seeking legal representation because those disputes had failed to resolve the remaining issues. Over several weeks the firm requested extensive documentation, including credit reports, payment records, dispute history, and documentation from Regional Acceptance Corporation. I spent considerable time gathering everything they requested, signed their credit authorization so they could obtain my reports directly, completed their intake paperwork, and even obtained additional documentation directly from Regional Acceptance after several attempts. Despite all of that, I was ultimately directed back to the very same dispute process that I had already explained had been exhausted before I ever contacted the firm. Rather than identifying what additional evidence they believed was necessary or providing a clear decision regarding representation, I continued receiving requests that either repeated information I had already provided or directed me to repeat steps that had already failed. What made the experience particularly frustrating was the amount of time invested without receiving a straightforward answer. If the firm did not wish to pursue the matter, I would have respected a direct decision. Instead, I was left spending weeks gathering records, signing authorizations, completing intake documents, and responding to requests, only to end up exactly where I started as they clearly couldn't understand what was being presented to them.
